Visited midday on a Friday in mid May for lunch. Needed to wait in line for less than 10 minutes, which I gather isn?t bad at... all. I had the Box Burger with a side of fried - both were outstanding. My lunch buddy had the breakfast wrap and the freshlemonade, which he tells me is his regular order. Lots of outdoor seating (of course it?s only outdoor seating) and it?s wellshaded. Service was efficient. Prices seem pr for the course, and pretty decent for the quality. Always on point. Came back after not being here for two years and it was as good as ever. Love their chicken tenders. The... burgers are always awesome. Their fries to die for. A terrific roadside "foot stand". No indoor seating but plenty of picnic tables located next to and behind, two outhouses as... well (if your really need to go that badly). Limited hours of 11-4 Sun-Tues, Closed Wed, 11-7 Fri-Sat. Now for the goodstuff.... Highly recommend the Shack Chili with cheddar and scallions, Hand Cut Fries, and the Sirloin Steak and Cheese withsweet onions and cheddar ale sauce. I ordered the Asian Salad and Shack Chili because I had skipped breakfast. The Asian Saladwhich was much larger, tastier and filling (also available with Grilled Chicken or Bacon for +$2) than I expected so I packedthe Chili in my saddlebag for later. Everything was fantastic and better than most full service restaurants. There was a lineof about 12-people placing orders and the counter-person indicated about a 10-min wait, It was actually more like 5-min. Theyprovide a beeper to alert you when you order is ready. Check out their attached menu which includes Appetizers, Sandwiches,Burgers & Dogs, Hand Cut Fries, Soups & Salads and Maple Valley Ice Cream for your Sweet Tooth. I rode up from CT with afriend, about 90 miles Back Road riding (180 round trip), and we've already planned a return trip. We both want to order whatthe other ordered as a taste of each just wasn't enough. Others around us as well as the Google reviews (avg 4.7 of 5) bear outour experience, excellent food, reasonable prices, fast service. You will not be disappointed (unless you go on Wednesday!) P.S. Simply fantastic a must stop place if you're in the area if you're even close make the effort to get by and stop. For a Roots... side Burger joint this place is outstanding they could be in a five-star hard site and do exceptionally well. The variety of themenu is incredible the preparation of all of those items is impeccable. Delicious food. They also have an ice cream bar therefor seasonal. And a picnic area out back with games and entertainment for the kids. Simply a great stop. We've tried a favoriteof ours truffle fries in several different establishments since we moved here 6 months ago and hands down the bistro box servesthe best product ever anywhere we've been. The preparation again the quantity of food offered outstanding. Outstanding we lookforward to returning again to trying other menu items. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Just be ready to stand in lineas it is a roadside restaurant. But do be patient and you will be rewarded with one of the best meals if not the best meals youwill ever order. Read more
