Much improved since my last visit about 6 mos ago , Caleb slinging some meat & beans is a Rockstar ???? Hire 6 more like him and... we may hit 5 stars. First I'd like to say the food was good fresh and healthy, that's why I come here. But on the last two occasions it was... disappointing. First time they are out of ice and the specialty drink, I reported it at the beginning my meal at the end of mymeal half hour later nothing was done so I only had water to drink. Second time I wanted to eat outside at their patio, it wasfilthy dirty, again when I brought it up and nothing was done. Read more
Service was great. The line was long but moved at a nice pace. I only crave Cafe Rio every once in awhile and it was good.... 07-13-2022 the food is good the only issue I have is the dirty air vent above the cash register. The picture does not reallyshow the severity of the dirt build up. They place your food directly under this vent when you pay. To the manager please cleanthese vents and the cobwebs under the awning where you stand in line. Read more
Not impressed at all. We stood there for awhile before an employee said sorry didn't see you there... we were next in line so... not sure how they couldn't see us at the front of there counter. After they were done slopping our food together while actingirritated we were even getting food the lady at the cashier spot had me list off what all we bought. Pretty sure I am notworking nor responsible for telling you. If I was dishonest I could have not paid for getting steak or any extras. Hands down our favorite place to go (Correction: tied with Boston's Bar & Grill) in Great Falls, MT!! The food is authentic,... portions are huge!, prices are low and customer service is excellent! Also, if you're military - Don't miss Mondays! All ordersare half off!! They do other discounts on certain days too! Recommended: Quesadilla with rice & black beans and cheese, saladon the side w/ guacamole. Burrito, enchilada style, pulled chicken, rice and black beans. ???? Chips and queso are,okay. Does this look like 4 double taco meals? Or fresh? No and no. This is the second time I have DoorDashed Cafe Rio to me and the... order been completely wrong from this location. Last time I had to drive across town and pick it up myself. This last time myDoorDash driver was cool and went back for me. You can?t call anyone at this location, even the local number rings to thecorporate call center who are pretty useless. Out of about 54 reviews I think this is only the second rating other than 5 starsI have ever given. I will never DoorDash Cafe Rio again. Read more
This place has gone so far down hill I don't think it is possible to recover. The building is DISGUSTING, dust every where. Even... the food surfaces are not clean. They used to be extremely busy, clean and delicious even their busiest days you wouldn't haveto wait long. Now the line can have 8 people in it and you are going to wait a very long time. They don't acknowledge yourpresence just talk to each other. Forget your food on the grill so you have black tortillas. I'm pretty sure if they wereinspected they would be shut down. We walked out last time and that will be the last time. Sad because I have so many memoriesof their delicious food. The last time I ordered for delivery the queso tasted like they had forgotten to clean a chemical outof the pot before making it.
