These guys have always been hit or miss with their food but we occasionally will order out here. Most recently, I ordered on... their online website which services through DoorDash. Immediately after my order was placed, I received a text letting me knowthat my order was going to take well over an hour for two bowls of soup. My wife called the restaurant to cancel our order as welive a bit out of town and did not have this amount of time to way. Grace explained that she had cancelled the order and theorder would be refunded. Over a week later, I still have no refund so we called to speak with Grace, she denied ever havingspoken to us and denied that we had called to cancel the order, and also stated that we were not charged, despite thetransaction in our bank account. We then called DoorDash and they explained that we would have to receive the refund fromHokkaido as they had already posted the transaction and the order was never cancelled. I called again today to speak with Graceto try and resolve and explained a brief version of the story to Sophie, who answered the phone. She began laughing at me anwhen I asked why she was laughing she stated, "Grace is making drinks and then she will have to come deal with you, it's justfunny." The order was nearly 50 dollars. This establishment fosters a professional and service environment where it is okay todisregard customers, their money, and laugh at them when they try to receive a refund for products/services they did not receiveand promptly cancelled. We were hankering for something Asian at the end of a long day of travel, and this place hit the spot. They were jam-packed... with people, but the service was just fine. The selections were ordered were nicely prepared, appropriately spicy, and wellpresented. We'll probably try one of their other locations when we get a chance. Read more

This is the closest restaurant to the Hilton hotel across the street, and well worth the walk. The service was enthusiastic,... with fun modern decor and decent Japanese food. I enjoyed the novelty of having on-tap Scottish ale, and sushi in the shape ofhearts. Read more

I usually come to GF 4-5 times a year and I think I finally found a great place to eat. I loved the Miso Ramen, a bit too much... noodles maybe as I expected more vegetables. But the taste was excellent. Great location too. I will come back on my next visitto GF. Read more
