Made the mistake of ordering five pizzas for a gathering from this establishment - never again - they take the order and tell... you it?s less than an hour for delivery but once the order is placed the delivery time keeps on getting extended - going on 1.5hours now and no delivery in sight - if you want a reliable delivery for your guests DO NOT use this joke of a company. Good enough food, HORRIBLE delivery. Promised 45 minutes, we waited 90 and gave up - after we kept calling, First they put us on... hold indefinitely, we finally hung up, then called back twice and they told us twice it was about to arrive - never did.Unbelievable. Read more

We've been visiting spring and fall with our Great Falls-Reston Soccer Club for the last 5 years. The boys like the venue (where... they can eat & depart for the village green). But each time the restaurant gets less accommodating, even though we often spendhundreds of dollars on pizza & kid/adult beverages. The Deli has never offered a discount for the sports team party (and still Ikeep asking). Another of the team's coaches works at a restaurant in Reston, and knows the owner. This evening he broughtdessert (brownies) from his restaurant and the Deli staff immediately approached the party & told us we needed to leave with thedessert, that we couldn't have a "competitor's product" in their restaurant. Not only did this insult the coach's efforts, butthe deli went out of their way to act like they were the insulted party, though they continually tried to say how much they"value & treasure the local neighborhood". Sports teams & groups from Great Falls-Reston: Go to Reston and patronize theireating venues. Great Falls Deli Italiano is neither neighborhood friendly nor a relaxing place to have a casual party.
