One of the last consistent places for good customer service and experienced servers in the area with a nice menu. Had the fried... goat cheese. It was delicious with strawberries, jalapeños and honey. So good. Read more

This is an excellent place. Best fish in fish and chips I've had in a very long time. The chips were not good, like McDonalds... level fries, but the fish was done so well it made up for it. Most American restaurants get the fish wrong. Our server told usyou can order it with mushy peas which we will do next time which will be soon. The Guinness was perfect! Read more

This used to be my go-to restaurant - delicious traditional Irish food and good service. However, the last three times I have... been here, the food has been underwhelming. For example, during my most recent visit, I ordered their beef stew. What I gotwas more like beef soup. Very disappointing. I don?t know if something happened with cooking staff during COVID but the foodquality has gone down. Read more

I visited late on a Sunday morning to have brunch while watching a Premier League football match. The place got busier an hour... into my stay at the bar, so I was glad I arrived earlier than noon. Atmosphere seems congenial and attracts a significant shareof locals and regulars. The service was effortlessly friendly and engaging behind the bar. I ordered a number of Irish pubfavorites: some oatmeal to start, the traditional breakfast, a small fish and chips, and a pie slice (featured flavor wasblueberry). The oatmeal with raisins and cranberries added tasted good and not overly sweet which was welcome. I wonder whetherI got more milk and less actual oatmeal from the portion I got, as I am used to a thicker, more porridge-like consistency. Thebreakfast arrived afterwards and had a few highlights. The sausages tasted like Irish pork bangers I had tasted on previousfamily trips to Ireland. Potatoes were crispy with restrained seasoning, the mushrooms had good texture and seasoning, and thebeans tasted like those from Ireland or England. The eggs were cooked fairly, although I think I got overeasy instead of overmedium as requested. The tomato had so be char flavor, even if I found the cut to be atypically artful instead of simplygrilling two or three slices as I would expect. The fish arrived hot and had a satisfying crunch for the exterior and flaky fishthat held its shape on the interior. The coleslaw appeared to be overdressed, but the fries were warm and had good texture. Themenu states pies being sourced from Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe, and I enjoyed the fresh, bright flavor of the blueberries even iffor some reason I found the pastry itself somewhat ordinary to my taste. A peach Bellini (not pictured) could have used a littlemore peach flavor and a brighter color (perhaps from a little more purée). My bill came to a little over $40 including tax, soI feel like I received a decent value for what I consumed. The friendliness of the bar staff made for a Read more

Best Irish pub to go in the entire NoVA area. Small and casual. Like minded people are always around and great small town talk... within a big surrounding area. Love coming in for a few drinks. Read more

Delicious, would go again. The gazpacho was only ok but the fish and chips (available in half portion with only one piece of... fish were very good. The warm bread pudding was excellent. Front outdoor seating is dog friendly. Read more

Good service. Decent prices. Outdoor seating was good, too, but I'm not sure why the hostess led us through the place instead of... the few steps around the side. Guess she wanted us to get a whiff of that "old neighborhood pub" smell. If you're familiar withMy Brother's Bar in Denver, CO, it's that smell. Across the board, our food was cooked nicely but was missing flavor. With theexception of the fried cauliflower, everything was bland. Fried pickles weren't as described on the menu, they weren't verypickle-y and the dipping sauce added nothing. The only thing remarkable about the Reuben is that it's served on marble rye. Eventhe cole slaw served with the Fish and Chips - which were cooked to perfection - was flat. Needed salt, lemon juice, sugar, anything to liven up the cabbage. It was room temp so didn't even have "refreshing on a hot day" going for it. This isn't arestaurant for foodies. It's a place you go for the drinking company while you happen to eat. Read more
