Super delicious Greek restaurant! So bummed I found out about this place towards the end of my time here in NoVa. The food was... so incredibly fresh and piping hot when it was served. We ordered the fava and octopus to start, as well as the meatballs- sodelicious. The octopus had this delicious lemon oil and caper sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. The avgolemono soup wassuper delicious, lemony and had so much chicken. Even bought more to bring home. For dinner someone ordered the pastitsio-insanely delicious and homey. The lamb shank dish- also incredible and fell off the bone good. The halibut was also deliciouswith the most delicious potatoes since someone was allergic to cauliflower and the greek salad even looked amazing with all thechunked vegetables. We were so full from all the deliciousness that we didn’t order dessert, but we regret it now. This placeis great and cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend. The food was great here, and they had live music at least the night we visited (which was the middle of the week). It's a... smaller place so the tables are a little crowded, and this is also a pretty pricey place. We were a bit disappointed with theinattentiveness of our server, but I understand it's hard for anyone to find good help these days. Read more

Outstanding meal. Thanasis is the best. When we entered the restaurant, Thanasis came right over and greeted everyone in our... party by first name (4 people). Incredible! He makes our visits so much fun. He anticipates and has an excellent sense oftiming. All this and delicious food! Read more

You can’t out-cook a bad waiter. We had such high hopes- driving long distance to experience Our Mama Eugenia Great Falls. Our... tall, built, mid-aged male server took our drink and dinner selections with a distinct underwhelmed expression of “..can wejust get this over with; his favorite expression was of looking bothered with one eye brow raised. His bothered look became thehumor of the dinner table and distracted us from feeling stupid for being there. His grimace persisted until it was time forthe check. We signed seperate receipts including seperate tips and he collected them with a smile; the first one of the evening.We chuckled for its impertinence. The food experience vs. the server experience created a net 0. The Greek cultural cuisineexperience box was checked but I wouldn’t recommend Our Mama Eugenia to anyone. We went on a Sunday afternoon, the place wasn't too crowded and the staff was attentive. I can't speak to their meat dished as... I'm a vegetarian, but what I ate was delicious! Our waitress was very good at telling which dishes are vegetarian or not. Butthe highlight was the orange sponge cake....it..well, took the cake!! It was phenomenal.
