I ordered two 6 oz. build-your-own hero burgers, each with sesame poppy seed buns, canadian cheddar, blue cheese, portobello... mushrooms, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and no sauce. I also ordered the crunchy chicken strips with hero dipping sauce, as well asthe meatless chicken tenders. The chicken tenders had zero taste to them. Even dipping them in the hero dipping sauce addednothing but a plain mayo taste them. The chicken strips were below average, I've tasted much better. The burgers were supergreasy and slippery, everything that was on the burgers kept falling out of the buns very easily. I could barely taste thecheese. The bacon isn't real bacon, it was veggie bacon. I did not pay for veggie bacon, and they only put a single strip ofveggie bacon on each burger (more than 1 piece of "real" bacon would've been nice). The lettuce and tomatoes added barely anytaste to the burger. I ordered portobello mushrooms for both burgers, and neither of the burgers had a single mushroom in themso they completely forgot to add mushrooms. I didn't order ANY sauce whatsoever on my burgers, but they added guacamole sauce tothe burgers (I HATE guacamole it's so gross), even though I did not click the guacamole option when I ordered, so I had to wipethe sauce out of the burgers before eating them. The burgers themselves were average; they were somewhat well-cooked but tastedlittle too raw. There are much better places to get burgers. Overall, this is the first and last time I'm ordering from thisplace, pure boycotting from now on and letting all my friends and family know not to go to this place. I want my money backbecause they got my order wrong. The overall food taste experience was below average, I paid for mushrooms that they didn't putin the burgers, I assumed that the bacon that they were going to put on the burgers was going to be "real" bacon but it wasn't(it was veggie bacon) and they put on a guacamole condiment that I didn't ask for. Veggie burger was not good, hero sauce doesn't really have any flavour it just feels like someone slathered on too much mayo.... Fries were okay, but I wouldn't waste your time here. Got the veggie soul burger tonight and WOW! Best veggie burger I've ever had, hands down! It had sautéed portabello mushrooms,... onions, jalepenos, and it was seriously amazing. My kiddo got a smash burger and loved it too. Hope they open one in the Sault! Read more
Ordered a Jalapeno Spicy Crispy chicken and it was overpowered by the sauce. The chicken was not crispy in the least, the... pathetic piece of lettuce was soggy AF, and one could not taste the chicken due to the overwhelming amount of sauce, which bythe way did not taste like Jalapeno but more like Scotch Bonnet. I eat a ton of spicy food and the sauce made it practicallyinedible. My mouth and lips are burning still, 20 minutes later but the hiccups have stopped ???? Ordered from here twice so far and both time my food was spot on.. best fries I've ever had by a long shot... I don't know what... they do but the fries are awesome...burgers are decent not a fan of the hero sauce. It's ok I guess. Reminds me of thousandisland dressing. This is a restaurant with like 3 others integrated together Although the packaging and food look like Hero Certified Burgers,... the taste and quality is off, and the menu is smaller Tbh the food was still pretty good, just not as good compared to oneyou'll find down south Toronto area Read more
