I would never normally go to an expensive chain restaurant, preferring local fare. The spicy Caesar drink was not very good.... The French onion soup was mediocre. (There is too much fake cheese in restaurants these days.) The prime rib was cookedperfectly and tasted great. Atmosphere was very nice. Read more

Great atmosphere. Large open space with plenty of seating and patio open. Staff is all around friendly and knowledgeable.... Seating is nice and private and cozy. I have to mention our server Jocelyn separately here because she was downright the mostamazing person and waiter ever. She was very quick, attentive, accurate and friendly and The Keg at Sudbury is extremely luckyto have someone like her working there. If nothing else, she alone is enough to make the visit here worth it. I hopemanagement sees this review and lets her know just how amazing she is and the impression she left on us. Read more

I mean, the service was amazing, food was good, the waiters even left a note that my bf requested for. but my issue was the... mouse that was running around. we noticed it at the end of our meal after we paid the bill and I mentioned it to a waiter thatwas passing by and the manager. they were NOT surprised at all.. in my opinion, I'm not going back. We always enjoy an evening out at the Keg. The staff is friendly and always go out of their way to ensure exceptional service.... The food is fresh, hot and always tasty. Restaurant is clean but lighting is a bit dim (which my elderly parents don?t carefor). All in all, it?s a fantastic experience every single time which is why we keep going back. Read more

The food at the Keg is definitely top notch; by far the best steak in down; unmatched! It more than justifies the price;... however, I would *strongly* advise avoiding the bar side of the restaurant if you are looking to have a conversation. Maybe wejust went on a bad day, but there were several patrons who were excessively obnoxious and loud to the point of beingdisrespectful. This is of no fault of the establishment, but I think there should be a point where patrons are cut off fromdrinking as some were a tad bit too drunk. Whether you are on the bar side or the dining area, part of what you are paying foris an experience. Unsure why we had to wait 10 minutes for a table as by the time we were seated, the bar side was fairly emptyand two patrons left while we were waiting. All in all, the food and service is worth the visit, but next time we go, we willensure to make reservations on the dining side. Read more

I love keg steakhouse cause of the quality they maintain and no surprise, but after few visits in the Sudbury we were very... disappointed. Where to start the food, service, etc. I ordered calamari all the time every time at this location there sometimeoff about, one it was uncooked, other time of over cooked dry, lobster felt old for some reason. Second time I went I got mymeals before my appetizers, I asked the server ? we get meal before appetizers ? he was like I guess so ( I think was a kitchenperson) we had a different server. But this kinda felt like not keg for sure. The billy miner pie was the star of the show. Butthe overall experience was very disappointing Read more

Food is good. Follow covid 19 safety instruction. We made the reservation late at the day, but they still accepted. We got our... table when we arrived. Waiting for 20 minutes for our dishes. Everything is really good. Will come back. Read more

We went to the Keg Sudbury tonight while in the city on business - I have never been so disappointed with a Keg. I do tend to... dine at the Keg at least once a month...(I travel quite a bit in Ontario and always make a stop at a Keg). The server forgot ourbread. My guest finished his french onion soup, (35+ minutes after being seated) and we still had not received it, so I askedour server for it as he was walking by our table. I always ask for cheddar butter with my bread, which the server commented "youknow your Kegs!", and then never brought it. I ordered the 10oz prime rib w/ twice baked and extra frizzled onions. The ordercame...potato was burnt on the top, and the frizzled onions was a warm ball of oil - it was disgusting! I took them off my plateand cleaned the oil off and away from my prime rib and potato. Grabbed my napkin and squeezed - you can clearly see how much oilcame off them (napkin in photo), leaving a floury onion paste. My server returned mid way though our meal on a walk by and said"everything going good?" I stopped him and told him of my meal concerns. He took the side plate of onions away along with mynapkin. The manager returned 10 minutes later (2 bites left of my prime rib) with a heaping plate of fried onions for me (withno napkin replacement). I asked her what I was to do with that? she said they are for you with no charge (!?!?) and then thankedme for telling them or they would have served the original frizzled onion batch all night... does quality check mean anything toyou?? There was an oil patch on my plate leaving the kitchen, and I had to let you know?? I received our bill, no offer ofdesert or discount on my meal. The food quality and service at this location is horrible, and its not a true reflection of theservice, food quality, and consistency the Keg offers. Read more
