Took the family out for BBQ. We placed our order, being careful not to order pork ( the wife is deathly allergic). When our... plates were delivered I noticed that my "Old School" didn't look like brisket. I ask and was told it was "The Old Fashion" whichis pulled pork. The young lady offered to take it and replace the pork with brisket..I told her that since it's gonna get thrownout anyway that id just keep it expecting to give it to the kids or dog. I was informed that " no, we can still use this"Really!!!?? NOT LEGAL OR ETHICAL... I offered a solution. Leave it and I'll pay for brisket. So....my friends. Did you enjoymy/your pulled pork on Thursday night ???? Ummm.? Not cool... I AM from Texas...and I wouldn't give u second hand PulledPork...And as an addition. The response marked "by owner" is not by the owner. These places are franchises...took 2 days forcorporate to ask for a copy of this review and ask to send me coupons. Tldr; Took three people more than 20 minutes to make an order for two (meats and sides are prepared at the start of the day; all... they had to do was fry some 5 minute wings and put meat in a bun). Left the restaurant and found out the order was completelywrong. Will not be returning. I?ve worked at a Dickeys restaurant for two years. The item that takes longest to prepare ischicken tenders, at 5-6 minutes in the fryer. When I went in today to pick up an order, the restaurant had no line and wascompletely empty except for a couple who were already eating. The three workers I could see hadn?t even begun making the order,so it would stay fresh, and that?s fine. However, an order of two sandwiches, two already prepared sides (non fried), and a fewchicken tenders taking three workers more than 20 minutes to prepare is not fine. That is outrageous. At longest, it should havetaken 10 minutes, and even that is crazy for a completely empty restaurant and three people. Even worse, after leaving therestaurant, I found out they got the order wrong. I ordered through DoorDash. 30 minutes after ordering, when driver showed up to get my food, my ORDER WAS CANCELLED WITH NO... EXPLANATION OR CALLS! If you aren?t going to honor your hours, then CHANGE THEM!!!! You can?t leave a family of 5 hanging whenyou DECIDE you don?t want to process that last big order of the night! Brisket was decent. Best thing was the roll. I'm not sure you should use checkerboard paper anymore is this even safe to eat?
Horrible! Ordered pulled pork and ribs. The ribs were all fat and the pulled pork was extremely stringy and weird. The slaw... tasted like dirty dishwater and the waffle fries were regular fries. So bizarre and disgusting will never order here again Read more
My grandmother was with me as usual & loved it. We both had the pulled pork sandwich which was phenomenal. Both had the jalapeno... beans which weren't as good as I remember. The slaw and potato salad were bomb. The place was clean and staff were very friendlyand welcoming. $15 for each person give or take. No lemon wedges for iced tea and no ice cream available. A GEM hidden just off 10th Street in ?-After my glowing review of Dickey?s Becue has lost some of it?s glamor! We have visited... regularly on the day they have the special pulled pork sandwich, with a special price. The food, service and delicious smellscan not be beaten! The PRICE on a ?regular? almost stopped my heart! Visit Dickey?s on specials day OR join me somewhere elsewhere it does not cost ?an arm and s leg? for a very modest meal!!!! Visited Dickeys again last night and was blown away! Thestaff was tops and the food was outstanding, and i dont mean outstanding on the sidewalk looking in! We went in and from themoment you smell the smoke until you stagger out with you stomach filled and your mind blow away, you have had the DickiesExperience!! Got the 2 meat plate. Only received one of my sides. The ranch is also watered down here for some reason. Has the consistency of... water so I?m not sure if they make their own ranch. Disappointed in not receiving my other side. 17$ a meal so I was hoping toget all of it. Friendly staff. Read more
