I've come to or ordered from Fonta's on & off for over 20 years, but this was the first time I ordered something other than... pizza, and boy! am I glad I did! This was probably the best gyro I've ever had, and I really appreciated that they put thetzatziki sauce on the side (when other restaurants put a ton of it on the gyro, it way too messy)! My wife & our friend both hadcalzones agreed that it was even better than Roma! Update: Just went in again the other day and got a pepperoni calzone, whichwas at least as good as Roma. It seemed a little small compared to my friend's, but I didn't say anything. However, one of thestaff also noticed. I don't know if it was our server or the manager who noticed, but without any prompting from my part, themanager came to me and said he was making me another one complimentary. I had to wait until the next night to enjoy that one,but I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find the new one absolutely packed with pepperoni! I'm really impressed by Fonta'sattention to detail and their exceptional customer service! Only problem was I had to do a few extra miles on the exercise biketo burn it off, but totally worth it! First time ever eating at Fonta's Pizza Restaurant. Tonight we ordered 2 Gluten Free Pizzas for carryout. We ordered their... American Pizza Gluten Free which consists of Sausage, Pepperoni & Mushrooms... since we enjoy Jalapeños we ordered those as anextra topping. We also ordered another Gluten Free Pizza called Roman which consists of Sausage & Pepperoni but I wanted 2 moretoppings so I got Pineapple & Onions... Oh my gosh we are extremely impressed! These pizzas came out fantastic. The crust sizeis 14 inches & it was chewy & amazing. It reminded us of what regular Pizza crust tastes like but to us this was better. Due toour food allergies we had to get Gluten Free & we were not disappointed. Of all the restaurants we've eaten here in Greeley,Colorado this is hands down our new favorite. I wish we would have found this place sooner! But we will definitely be orderingfrom Fonta's again. If you're looking for a good & delicious Gluten Free Pizza look no further. Love the antipasto salad, the pizza and the gyros! Those are the only items we always get as a family. I?m sure everything else... tastes just as great. I like to chat with the owner. He is a very nice man. Everyone is friendly there. This restaurant has beenin Greeley for decades. I moved here in 1981 in Fontas Pizza was here then. It has now survived a couple of recessions andpandemic. That says it all. Read more
Not sure what the hype is? Wanted to support local business so we tried Fontas tonight. There was no sauce hardly on the pizza... and was incredibly salty. And 4 dollars for 2 sides of ranch?! Read more
