If you go later in the day, don't expect good service. The servers don't pay attention, they're always standing/sitting around... talking and the managers don't care. We sat for nearly 20 minutes before we even got our drinks. Our food was brought to us coldand undercooked, and when we asked to have refills, our server gave us a horrible attitude! The service was great, the food was excellent and the manager stopped by the table to make sure our experience was a good one.
So tonight we ordered a pickup, at first they forgot HALF the order, then waited for about half hour for them to fix it. Get... to the car and realized a complete entre was STILL missing. I ended up just calling in real quick to speak with the pickup, thefirst lady that answered was very nice, she transfered me to pick up, and that girl was super rude! She asked me real quick ifI wanted to speak with a manager, I said no just fix my order right away and I'll be in to pick it up, and she said ok and hungup on me really fast! Walked in a few minutes later, had to wave down someone to help, and ended up getting someone politethat went in the back and got my food right away. Food itself was OK, we've had better from them before, but the servicesurrounding the pickup orders (not checking the order properly on the first time, let alone a second time) was extremelydisappointing! I'm sorry but the last time Applebee's was good was when half apps were a thing. The downward spiral this franchise has taken... over the years is sad. The food is subpar and a touch overpriced for what you get. I love the people who work here but thequality of food lacks. Not to mention the Chiefs vs. Bills game was on and they failed to show it. Our waitress was exceptional. The appetizer, delicious. The steak too tough to eat and had ZERO seasoning on the actual meat.
First time at this location in years. I called and ordered to go. After picking the food up and coming home, I quickly realized... that it was wrong. Right order, but missing a bunch of things, no seasoning on my steak. Called, spoke to the manager, heapologized and gave 2 free entrees for the next visit. Flash forward a month or so later (last week),the wife and I were tryingto decide what to do for dinner, and she remembered we had those entrees. I called, the waitress taking my order was veryfriendly, my wife wanted something that is apparently no longer on the menu, so she held my part of the order until I calledback with the "correct" order for the wife. Normally we don't eat here but friends of ours had a gift card. So we went and had a very delicious supper. They have meals 2... for 20 2 for 25 and 2 for 29. So I ordered Fiesta Lime chicken with cheese and a $5 special Tipsy Leprechaun Drink. My husbandhad a burger and onion rings (his standard order). Food was delicious and my drink was just what I needed!! Read more
When I placed my order, I asked if I could substitute soup for fries. I was told there would be a $1 upcharge. I said that was... ok. When I received my bill, there was a $2.99 upcharge. I brought it to my servers attention, and she said she didn't realizethey had changed that, and would refund $1. I said ok. The manager then came to the table, THREW down a silver dollar and said"either take that or I'll take away your senior citizens discount" ($1.68).
