One of the best meals we have had while dining out! The 16 oz Ribeye was made to perfection and the Sea Bass topped with Blue... crab and lobster sauce was a flavor overload. The bread was served warm with a nice crunchy crust and the tomato bisque wasamazing. The staff was super friendly and attentive and we had a quick visit with the chef!! Downtown Green Bay should beecstatic to have another high quality establishment such as this!! Read more

Food was absolutely delicious. Our group had steak, mushroom stroganoff, walleye, shrimp and pepper pasta, and garlic shrimp. We... all enjoyed every part of our meals. The dining experience was also top notch. Our server (Amanda?) was attentive and veryprofessional. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. This new restaurant is a great addition to Green Bay! My wife's and my favorite place in Green Bay! Their appetizer menu is unbelievable. The atmosphere is very modern and... comfortable. My wife and I had our first date at Black and Tan so we held our wedding ceremony there. The experience wasnothing short of incredible! Staff had the room prepared day in advance. The service was incredible during the ceremony andreception afterwards. Every single one of our guests complimented us on the venue, service, and especially food and drinks. Ourwedding was perfect in large part due to the efforts of the Black and Tan staff! THANK YOU! Read more

I went for restaurant week and the food was really good. My favorite aspect was the wine selection and the crab cakes. The ahi... tuna was also very good with the goat cheese ravioli. The only reason this was a 4 instead of a 5 was due to the fact that wehad to wait about 45 mins to pay our bill. Also definately recommend the bread service which was very delicious. Read more

Our last experience at Black and Tan, on a Friday night, was quite wonderful. We had their Friday special for 2, which is an... amazing value with an appetizer, two entrees, desert and a bottle of house wine. We'll be back on Fridays just for thespecial! We started with the blackened tuna, which was perfectly seared with a wonderful flavor. I had the black and tansteak, while my wife had the salmon. Both were great and perfectly prepared, with a lot of flavor put on each dish. The desertto finish up the meal was a well done, and nicely spicy, carrot cake, but was cold and needed to be brought up closer to roomtemperature before serving. The bread course is still the best around - all homemade and delicious. It was a wonderful mealall around, from the service to the food. We will be back, and probably often. Another plus is their lounge area - quiet,great service, a really nice selection if beers (Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale!) wine. Their lounge food menu is nicely thoughtout, inexpensive and delicious.
