Atmosphere was cute and antiqued. But it was hot. In the restroom you could feel the AC trying in the vent but with the ovens so... close to the dining room on a 95 degree day it was steamy. Great pizza though, I'll be back! Read more

When you're looking for a local pizza place, Jake's can't be beat. It's such a gem in the Broadway District! Before you even... get to order, you're met by ridiculously friendly staff. You don't feel like a customer, they make you feel like a neighbor orfriend. Fresh crust made on site in small batches, once they run out...boom, they're gone! The shrimp scampi pizza and thereuben pizza are incredible. Perfectly baked, savory sauces...woah they're just so good! For the reuben pizza, they give thanksto St. Brendan's Inn, across the river and another local gem, for some of the best corned beef around and the sauerkraut has thea delicious balance of tang! So lucky to be around the corner from here. Definitely worth the stop when you're in Green Bay! Read more
The staff is amazing! We were greeted as soon as we entered and invited to have a seat. We were promptly served drinks and the... bartender struck up a conversation. The drinks were made very well and the double bubble kept our bill very reasonable. Anotherstaff member offered us peanut brittle while we waited which was fantastic. The pizza was made to order and was awesome! We willdefinitely be back! If you like a good conversation, relaxed atmosphere, a well made drink and a tasty pizza definitely checkthis place out! Jakes pizza on Thanksgiving for us has been a tradition for many years. After last year of them closing early when we had an... order sitting there to pick up & this year closing the entire week of, it is finally time to find a more reliable tradition. Iunderstand being with your family for the holiday but it's also a business so I'm sad to have to make the change. Edit: Youabsolutely closed early and after I posted a comment on Facebook I was contacted and an employee drove back to the restaurant tomeet my husband. So yes family owned or not we cannot count on the reliability of your hours year to year. Read more
