Maybe we caught them on a bad night.. but it was really bad. Generally I don't rate on service because employees are a variable... that changes. We were the third table seated and waited 20 minutes before being approached at all, and waited another 15 minutesbefore our order was taken.. and another 20 minutes before salads and mozz sticks were brought out. When the food was served itwas luke-warm. Meatballs were dry and overcooked or maybe reheated. The "side of meatballs" was put in the chicken alfredo.. theAlfredo sauce was clearly from a jar. We asked for parmesan cheese.. "absolutely! I'll grab it now." He went in the kitchen andcame back out without it, said nothing and proceeded to clear the neighboring table, slamming dishes together, then stormed tothe kitchen and kicked the door open, nearly blasting the hostess on the other side. Never got the parmesan and never came backto our table. Three other tables came in, sat for 15 minutes or so, then left because they received no service. Our bill was $54for two meals, an appetizer and one soda. Can't say we're likely to go back. We've been wanting to order pizza from there - Iremember it being excellent years ago. Hesitant to do that now, too. Read more

We waited over two hours for food. We were told three different times our order was lost (staff was gracious and friendly... throughout). We waited as we heard the food was good. Half of our orders came out wrong and our food was rushed; under/overcooked. This was too bad as the food seemed like it should have been great. The 10 tables that came in before us (and got therefood first) seemed like they enjoyed their food. Read more

Ordered take out vegetable primavera. It was very small for the amount charged. My daughter and I thought it was a kids meal for... $14,00. It did come with soup less than a cup. Was disappointing Read more

Presentation of the plates were well done. Ordered the chicken Alfredo which was good. The sauce didn?t come from a jar. It?s a... thicker sauce but very good. This is definitely not a fast food joint. I don?t mind the wait if the food is good. On that note,it was a little longer wait which knocked a star. The garlic knots rocked! The price is a smidge high for what you get but againthe taste was worth it. They do offer take out but the restaurant inside is very nice too. Ask for the special, at least thisweek was a very great deal for takeout. Read more

A quaint little pizzeria in the heat of Howard. Their pizza is pretty good, but what I?m really in love with is those garlic... knots. I could eat those until it made me physically sick. So good. The app sampler basket was also pretty banging. Pizzawontons are stellar. I was excited to try the Chicago style pizza, but the sausage patty proved a bit too much for me.Josephine's tomato sauces were quite good which leaves me wondering why they don't use it on their Margherita pizza. Loudatmosphere and inattentive wait staff brought the experience down. Read more

Hands down the highest quality food I have had since moving to the Green Bay area. We had the "double dough" pizza with extra... cheese. It was clear that they used fresh, quality ingredients, and I was honestly shocked at how reasonable the prices were. Ihave paid much more for way less satisfying food many times, since moving to the area. The restaurant has a cozy and invitingatmosphere and while the decor is definitely dressed down and casual, it has a polished feel that gives the impression that itcould be pretty fancy if it wanted to be. The pizza itself has a very unique flavor unlike anything I have ever had. I detecteda hint of Rosemary in it somewhere, which is normally among my least favorite seasonings, but the flavor was blended with theother ingredients to such perfection that I think I might be changing my mind about this herb. Perhaps I've just neverencountered anyone who knew how to use it properly until now. The 14 inch double dough pizza offers a generous portion for theprice, partly due to the chewy crust, delicious in it's own right. This pizza is special, folks. I can't stress that enough. Ifyou're anything like me, you have a certain thing you are seeking out when you have a pizza craving. Likely the greasy, cheesy, satisfying but somewhat bland pie that larger chains have been offering us all for decades now. This pizza does not deliver thatfamiliar flavor that I originally set out to have; instead it was so uniquely good it made me question why I have been living insuch a culinary bubble for so long. It's not the type of pizza that I'm going to want every time we go out, but at the sametime, it's also the kind of pizza that I know I am inevitably going to have a craving for, and when that happens, there willsimply be nothing else that will do. I wouldn't at all be surprised to find out that there are some locals who will *only* eat Josephine's pizza. The service was professional and attentive, I have absolutely no complaints in that Read more
