The food was alright.. They are very skimpy with their rice though. For one entre you get less than half a cup... the food was... warm though. Just seemed a little expensive for the quality. We ordered calamari which costed $10. Do not recomend.... itlitterally tasted like we were biting into just the breading. We ordered the Sumo, Dynamite, Crunchy, Sassy, and Hurricane Rolls, and shrimp Yaki soba. All were delicious, but if you like a... bit of spice, the Dynamite and Sumo are AMAZING! It was our first time here, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Thefood is on the expensive side, hence the four star review. The only thing that could be improved upon, would be if they offerall-you-can-eat sushi for a set price, like Sushi Lover. Our waitress Janet was also exceptional. The taste of the food was amazing I need to admit that, however the waiting time for us was completely absurd! We seated in a... table and had to wait for around 40 min until someone came and asked if we were being attended already (which we weren't), evenwhen we tried to get waitress attention we would just not be acknowledged to be there! The sushi tempura was awesome! The salmon, tuna, and yellow fin all tasted great and the miso soup was basically perfect. The... atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff seemed quite friendly. The only real knock on the restaurant was the fact thatthe service was rather slow. That being said the restaurant was quite busy and possibly short staffed. Therefore I can not dockthem too heavily for the slow service. Price wise it was slightly on the hefty side. However even the price was not that bad,considering the quality sushi. Came in with a large group, 12 of us, with 1 arriving about half and hour after the first 9 and two arriving about an hour after... the first 9. Had a reservation ahead of time so getting a table was no problem. Service was painfully slow. The guy who camein half an hour late had to wait and hour to get a drink. The rest of us already had ours so really shouldn’t have been aproblem, and the place wasn’t that busy. All told, we finally got our food about 2 hours after we arrived. It was very good,but kinda expensive even for sushi. Wife and I had 4 rolls and three orders of sushi (just fish and rice) and bill was close to$100. Could have gone to sushi lovers and paid half the price and been out a hour earlier. I would give them another try,because they have Thai and noodle options that looked good and not so outrageously priced, but if this repeats itself I will notgo back. Read more
