First time dining at this restaurant. It was a good experience. A little awkward at the beginning as we weren?t sure if we... should just pick a table or if we were going to be seated and given menus. Turns out you order at the register & pay first.You?re then given a table number to take with you to a table of your choosing. Water is complimentary and self-serve. Food wasgood. I got the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried rice while my husband got the Ox Tail Pho. We also ordered some appetizers -Crab Rangoon and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Everything came out at once. Portions were very good. My husband finished his Pho but Ididn?t finish my dish as it was more than I had expected. This was my first time seeing sweet corn in fried rice, but it wasvery good. I will have add some to my own recipe in the future. The chicken was very sweet with just a hint of sourness, but Ihave a sweet tooth so it definitely did not disappoint. The crab rangoon were stuffed and so good! The shrimp were perfectlycooked and crispy. I usually peel the shell before I eat shrimp but found that the shell had a good crunch so I didn?t have topeel the shrimp. The only cons for us were: 1) There was excess oil and butter in the fried rice. Made it a very heavy dish. 2)The ox tail didn?t seem like it was freshly cooked the same day. It tasted almost like it was cooked prior, refrigerated andthen cooked again when needed. 3) The shrimp were a bit too salty, but would have been fine if peeled. Oh! I almost forgotabout the boba tea! I ordered watermelon with the traditional black tapioca pearls. It was delicious with the right amount ofsweetness! Definitely will come back again! :D Read more
Place literally made me sick. Your honesty better off making ramen noodles at home because I can tell that?s the stuff that they... used, and they put way toooo much onions and cilantro it made it taste disgusting! The only thing I can say good about thisplace are their egg rolls and I don?t even think those were freshly made but they were decent, their boba tea is good butoverall I did not like this place! Definitely what I was looking for when I miss food from home. Tried the Ox Tail Pho for the first time and it was amazing! Meat... is tender and the entire bowl was delicious! We also got the papaya salad, pork belly, hmong sausage and eggrolls! Don't havepictures of Pork Belly and Hmong Sausage as they were take out orders. I ordered takeout for 1lb pork belly, sticky rice, and papaya (spice level: hot). Pork belly: so, so delicious. Sticky rice: it... was nice, hot, and tasted fresh. Papaya: I'll probably skip out on this next time. In my opinion, it looks better than ittasted. It's okay if you're in the papaya mood .. but I feel like it lacks flavor. Great beef pho, and the spring rolls are enormous. I love the condiments that can be added to the pho, especially the chilli... oil. My friends also loved their food, and thought it was one of the best restaurants of our trip. Read more
I had the pho combo which had beef, meatball, shrimp and tripe in it. I was a little hesitant on the tripe, but it was... wonderful. The wife had chicken pho. Both tasted GREAT. The only reason this place got only four stars was the lack ofcleanliness. Napkin and condiment holders were filthy. Read more
