What a great experience my husband and I had here for our 10 year anniversary weekend away. My hubby got the prime rib, which... was AWESOME, cooked just right! I got the scampi and it had lots of shrimp which I was so excited about usually I am leftwanting more. It was a very tasty meal for sure and it was paired with great service and live music. Really cute nice place! Read more

What a darling place! I came here with my family while on vacation and this was one of the restaurants our bed and breakfast... recommended. The restaurant is located in a log cabin styled strip mall. Its not a very big restaurant but the décor gives youa calm and homie vibe. There was live music playing which was nice because it wasn't too loud; we were able to enjoy the musicwhile still being able to hear each other in conversation. The food was pretty good and the service was great. Recommend foranyone staying around in this location. Very cute diner in the mountains :) Read more

Here is another complicated review? What a neat concept of having a gourmet restaurant in a tiny little house Colorado mountain... town that barely has 20 houses. The place is attractive, if kitschy, and the service is quite excellent. The food was quite highend, as in escargot and duck breast. I enjoyed my meal, and the bill was nowhere near what it would likely have been at anyother restaurant of this sort. That said, the different dishes all had their details? The salad dressing was not what mostpeople would talk about as a Caesar dressing, The brussels sprouts were overly caramelized, to the point that they kind of stuckto your teeth a bit, which was annoying. The escargot was excellent, and the duck breast was well prepared, if not magical intaste. In sum, bravo to the owners for the concept, and I would gladly try more of their menu, particularly as it does not do asmuch wallet damage as other restaurants at this level. Read more

I had the chance to visit the Mucky Duck for brunch recently with my wife and daughters. We loved the place. The service was... great and very friendly and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere has that definite mountain charm. They have great eggsBenedict choices as well as other specialties. Hope to go back for dinner. Read more
