I’m not a picky eater and very rarely complain about restaurant food, but last night was the exception. We’ve eaten at... Dominick’s several times in the past 2-1/2 years and have been generally pleased with their food. Last night 9/24/22, Iordered a half rack of their ribs. These were the worst ribs I have ever eaten. They looked like they were dried out andwarmed up then slopped over with some off the shelf BBQ sauce. They were hard to cut with a knife and I had to really chew offthe meat. They were completely tasteless and TOUGH. I gave up after 2 ribs. I will not be ordering them again and adviseothers to pass on them. A group of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner and laughs at Dominick's tonight. The seating arrangement was excellent in the back... room for our group, the food was excellent, and our server was Monica and she was such a delight. She took great care of all ofus and smiled through it all! We will definitely be back again! Read more
Pleasant service. We arrived about 12:30 and were able to be seated within a couple of minutes. The trio that came after us,... however, was going to have a bit of a wait. Neither of our groups had reservations. There's a lovely view of the desert rarityof green grass from the golf course as you sit at tables with cloth tablecloths and napkins. Water with lemon slices wasprovided immediately without having to request it and there is a good selection of food. We tried the half rack of ribs, Caesarsalad and chicken piccata, finishing off with sharing a Belgian chocolate gelato. The chicken piccata was excellent, althoughit looked as though a whole bottle of capers had been dumped upon it. I love capers, but that was a little much, even for me.The ribs were so tender that they fell off the bone and could be cut with a fork. There was a nice honey butter served with theroll, the carrots were perfectly cooked and the Caesar salad was delicious. We have been searching for a good place to getgelato ever since we were in Italy a couple of years ago and were pleased to have found it here. The Belgian chocolate gelatowas smooth and creamy just like our Italian favorites and we would come back just for that! So nice to find something in such alittle town that is definitely a cut above. Ordered take out for dinner. Burgers and pasta + dessert. Really impressed with the quality of the food. Obviously high quality,... fresh ingredients. Green Valley residents need not belong to the Country Club to eat here or order from here. Aren't we lucky tohave such a great little bistro in town? While visiting my parents in Green Valley we had a great dinner here on our last night. It was absolutely delicious and the menu... had something for everyone. We had two kids with us that enjoyed the pizza. I'm a huge fan of the smashed Parmesan potatoes!!They had some great signature cocktails. The only negative is they were out of the cheesecake we wanted but we'll try that nexttime! They had two musicians playing live music which really added to the ambiance. A disappointing dinner for two of our party of three. The calamari was tough and the eggplant Parmesan was mushy, with a... marinara that was overly sweet. Even the dinner rolls, which are normally delicious, were dry. The best part of the meal wasthe cocktail. We were surprised at the change, since we’ve recently had good meals there. Read more
