Server Brandie did a great job. However the food was horrible. I had the chicken parietal. The chicken was hard and... slightly burnt. The spaghetti that can with it, was dried out or else not fully cooked. Sauce was like tomato paste ratherthan sauce very acidic. The other meal was a patty melt with soup. The broccoli and cheese soup was gross. The had it so hotthe milk was curdled. Plus there was pieces of the stem that was hard and inedible. Asked for the patty melt to be medium.1st one came out rare and had blood coming out of it. 2nd one was cooked correctly. Why hire someone to cook who can't cook. TA is shutting down all their Country Prides. Instead replacing it with fast food. It's because the CEO is only there fortheir paycheck and not there for the company. They could care less about any part of the TA or Petro locations. So sadcause I can remember when this location was the Buckhorn and the food was always superb. You can go to Cracker Barrel orApplebee's and eat better food for less money. Read more
One of the better dining experiences I've had in a while. Not too busy when I was there but the staff kept everything moving at... pace. Not once did I feel rushed through the meal and the atmosphere made it feel more like a home cooked meal. Inspirationalquotes (from Walt Whitman to Tina Turner) on all the booths reassured you that life would be okay. The staff was upbeat,friendly, and most importantly real. They kept the drinks full and checked on me to ensure all was well. For the price, the foodwas overflowing the plate and ensured enough for leftovers. Very tasty and delicious. While this was the first time I was there,it most certainly will not be the last. Truck stop gem for sure! Read more

Ordered take out the food was horrible. The waitress wasn't pleasant you could tell she didn't wanna do her job.
My husband and I ordered from here about an hour ago my husband went in and can't see well with out his glasses well he paid... Tara with a fifty and a twenty thinking it was 2 twenties and when he ran back she said he only gave her 40 dollars yet our billwas 40.25 and she cashed him out with that fifty and keeps about 30 bucks of our money thing is I don't tip that much for onlytaking my order over the phone and she gave him a five dollar bill for change so not sure how any of that even adds up otherthen her being dishonest.. if you can be dishonest like that and steal money from the costumers you stealing from the work placeto. she messed with the wrong person I worked in costumer service and everyone knows you say the amount owed and say what thecustomer gave you she did not .. how ever when I went in and spoke to her boss he fixed it with giving me at least 20 dollarsback Read more
We stopped with 7 people waitress looked at 7s 3 times then told another waitress "they can stand there and wait I am going to... the bathroom" We turned around and walked out will never stop to one of these again. All she had to say was it will be just aminute. She was rude and is definitely in the wrong profession. Read more
