Reviews for Mrs. Gibble's Candies and Restaurant in Greencastle, PA
Everything about this place was wonderful! Just sad that people don't want to work anymore. The hours are so limited.
This is a hidden gem. I took my grandmother there and we both loved it. Great service. Great food. Great experience!
I highly recommend this place is fantastic. I loved how clean it was inside. On my 1st visit, the food is so delicious. Well... worth your money. The atmosphere is lovely, and the employees are so friendly and keep up with your drinks which is nice. Keepdoing what you do. Thank you! We will return. Read more
Their prices are ridiculous. And the food is terribly mediocre. The staff was nice but it?s definitely not worth what they?re... charging Read more
We ordered off the Easter take out menu for our family get together Saturday evening, the day before Easter. Pick up was in the... Candy Store and ready when we arrived at 2pm. Kim instructed us on heating the meats (ham & pork tenderloin) and sides.Everything was wonderful. You would never know that it was prepared ahead of time, refrigerated and then reheated. We werepleased with the ease of ordering, pick up, price, portions and most of all the quality of food. Gibbles has been a longtimefavorite of ours and we were thrilled that the take out option was available to us for the holiday. Will definitely order nexttime it?s offered. Read more
Went on an evening when there were lots of customers and they were extremely short-staffed, but Leah (I'm pretty sure that was... her name) made us feel like we were her only table! Really, she was one of the best waitresses I've ever had! She was so politeand friendly and helpful! ???? The food was good too, but the service sticks in my mind more!???? Read more
Great food in a very nice family style restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Also, they have a homemade candy shop and they... make all the chocolate themselves. Read more
Mrs. Gibbles is dated and old fashioned. It was good, or at least better, 30 years ago but not so much anymore. Old wood... paneling, old tables and fixtures, servers that push carts, these are just not my thing. My Mac and cheese was not even warmand the corn fritters had very little corn. Their placemats bemoaned their experience with Covid. The pandemic hit everyonehard but good businesses looked to reinvent themselves. Read more
