Reunion amongst friends after 2 years apart and Other people?s reviews lead my group here tonight and they did NOT disappoint.... The three of us ordered New York steak, beef medallions and salmon. Not only did I love my food but they both did also. Rare foreveryone to love every item on their plate with no complaints. We was blown away with how good everything was. A hidden gem in rural America. Definitely worthy of a destination dining experience. My wife and I are local but we would travel... here in a heartbeat. The food is excellent. I mean really top notch. The chef, Ian, is amazing. The hard core favorites on themenu are fantastic. Any special is a must order. The garden outback is so relaxing. What can I say about this place? As a semi newbie to the area, I stumbled on this cozy place. It is honestly the only place... where my husband can enjoy a rib eye and a vegetarian pasta for myself. Everything is fresh and made to order. They customizefor all dietary types without the hassle. Pair that with the outdoor seating, grape vines, outdoor oven, and kitchengarden....what else could you ask for? Maybe a personalized greeting from the Chef as an added bonus. This is definitely myfavorite place to eat and honestly just relax after a stressful day at work. Absolutely worth the add to your bucket list. Read more
Amazing restaurant! There is truly not another one like it! Everything from the ambiance to the food and the service is superb!... Awesome servers and a wonderful chef that visits you at your table after your meal is brought out. The menu is constantlychanging and there?s always something for everyone. It?s in an old library so the setting is very romantic and perfect for adate or family dinner. It almost feels like fine dining in a relaxed setting! They have a full bar as well as a huge wineselection! Occasionally they have a live pianist playing. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone! Well worth the price! Read more
The atmosphere was dark, the presentation was below par for the upscale they wish to represent. They lack personality when... interacting with us - leaving us for long periods of time. The waitress was great when she was around. We arrived at 5:10pseated at 5:15p at 5:36p the first salad was delivered - the first dinner plate was delivered at 6:10p - the next 2 weredelivered 10 min later with the last plate another 10 min. At first only one out of the 4 got food (6:10p) The waitress comesout and says I brought your food out too early. I should have waited another 2 mins. Finally the rest of the food was comingout, nope, still missing a dinner. Don't worry a complimentary $6 soup was delivered to the 4th person (while waiting for theirdinner) so they wasn't left out while the rest of us were eating. It took another 10mins for it to come out - it was thehottest meal the table received. I was jealous of the steam they had, hearing the sizzle... ah the sounds of greatness. Notsure what happened but the food was barley warm. Even the soup was lukewarm at best. We were expecting fine dining treatmentbut got average dining experience we'd get at Applebee's. 3 of has had the filet mignon but when it came out it looked likebeef stew, tasted like roast - not sure $38 each was worth it. The twice baked potato a $2 upcharge wasn't worth it - get thepuréed "mashed" potatoes those were scrumptious. I was hoping for a WOW factor but what I got was satisfactory. I did questionmyself whether I even got filet mignon. Overall it was a good time with family. By the time we left the place was gettingbusier but those people may like what they get. Will we return? This is a lovely restaurant, a great place if you want to take that special someone for an elegant night out and feel like... dressing for an occasion. Having said that we certainly were not dressed in tune with the atmosphere but they didn?t hesitate toseat us. The food was as promised and very tasty priced appropriately. The one down side is they are massively understaffed inthe wait staff area ! I would suggest they consider better wait staff salaries & packages to ensure people que up To work thereyour increase in nightly turnover will justify the cost I assure you. Read more
