Popeye's chicken is reliably good. At all locations. What this location lacks is attention to detail in filling the orders and... staff that is fully-trained. We understand staffing -- and we're not talking about brain surgery. Order 16 piece meal and expectto get 4 wings, 4 thighs, 4 breasts, and 4 legs, right? NOPE. 8 wings, 6 thighs, 2 breasts and no legs. hm. We were made awarethat it was going to take 7 minutes. OK. no problem. Went through drive through and my boyfriend asked if he was sure everything was in there. Sure it is! He didn?t even know which... drink he made was diet or regular. Mistakes happen. Well we didn?t have our chicken sandwich. I went in and they gave me one andwas nice about it. However, the dining room closed literally when I walked out. It is a Friday evening and it closed at 8. Wewere sitting in our vehicle and watched so many customers walk up to door for it to be closed. We stopped an elderly couple andtold them. So sad. Probably don?t have enough workers. Been wanting chicken for a minute and decided to go to Popeyes. We are there when it was first opened and liked it. So..... Not... the case today. Spent 26 and change on 2 meals and only thing we could stomach was the biscuits. Potato's was cold and chickenwas absolutely awful. I bite looked raw while other was dried out. Tried to call them and it would hang up or say no longer inservice.. and I had to get ready for work so couldn't return. And if that wasn't bad enough.. we asked for minute to transfermoney and the chic goes ahead and runs my card. Husband ordered 2pc mild & mash. They gave us a mild wing & spicy breast. Wing was eaten before realizing breast was spicy but... had eaten a spoon of mash. Was told they would not replace the mash. Now if I paid & got all food hot; I want it replaced hot asin heat not spice & wasted gas to go back. This employee sent the mash back. I'm done trying to do business with these placesthat take your money & give you trash service. There is no # to even call and complain both numbers found are disconnected. I love Popeye's no matter what... This location does a good job. Always hot food. The strawberry lemonades are phenomenal!!! A... MUST try if you already enjoy drinks like these! Favorite for me? Chicken sandwich hands down. And don't forget about that Mardigras mustard. ???? Read more
Normally good food and better than KFC, but had a poor experience there yesterday. Went through the drive through and staff... forgot a bag of our order inside the store. Went inside and got the rest of our food, but it?s now the next day and my partnerand I are still feeling pretty violently ill. Would recommend going to one of the other locations in the state if at allpossible. Read more
Placed an order for drive thru. Took 45 minutes to get the order. I pulled forward as asked (there was no markings or signs to... say where to pull forward too) was then rudely told I needed to pull forward more that I was holding up the drive thur (whichwas them trying to make more cars wait for their orders after taking their money and food not close to ready) and when theyfinally brought my food out I still had items missing from my order!
