Food and drinks were phenomenal! Service was exceptional! Make reservations for weekends. Been there twice, once for brunch... (no reservations needed that morning, sat at the bar on a Sunday @11:00am) and once for dinner on a Saturday night. Packed bothtimes with a line waiting to open. Read more
Edit: Update my review to three stars as I went again for dinner last weekend. The Brazilian fish stew is very salty especially... the cod. Maybe that?s how it?s supposed to taste like idk? Crème brûlée is overly sweet and the sugar is too thick. It?s myfav dessert but prob the only time I couldn?t finish it. My friend enjoyed his steak salad very much maybe I just had bad luckpicking the right thing from the menu. I like everything about this place except the dish I ordered. We came here out of whim: on our way back to Boston from Vermont and had to make a stop for dinner. It got really good review... and has a very nice outdoor seating set up. It was very busy for Sunday night and we were expecting a long wait but the hostesswas very efficient in clearing a table for us. The waiter Ben was super friendly and helpful with my complicated diet I?m on.The cocktail drinks are unique and good so are the mocktails! The lamb burger was highly recommended! This place was incredible! The service was so friendly & upbeat that I felt like I was the highlight of their day. ... Really....it was refreshing. Our first server came in on her day off to help & was a GD JOY! When she left, she let us know wewould be wrapping up service with another person. It was a really great experience. The menu is well written & executed. Theservings are perfectly sized. All 3 of us finished our meals & commented on the fact that we never do that. I think it wasbecause there were a couple of veg sides that helped round out the food without stuffing you. I had the pork schnitzel. Sorry,no pic cuz I inhaled it. The drink menu is great as well. I love Hope and Olive. They greet you with genuine warmth, cook fabulous food and have reasonable prices. They also have a... generous and community oriented presence in Greenfield by supporting other local businesses and holding fundraising events forlocal non-profits. A wonderful place to go with friends or sit alone at the bar and chat with the charming bartenders who tendto remember customer's names. Great restaurant all around. Read more
