Had not been there in 3 years was looking forward to it and was extremely disappointed!! The service was horrible. I order the... biscuits which were 2 for 6$ or 4for 10$, they were the size of a quarter and raw inside. The soup I order was cold andtasteless. My husband ordered a burger medium and it came almost raw. The baked clams were fishy. I usually don’t writereviews but this needed to be written. The server never came by to see if everything was ok or we needed new drinks. Afterbringing me the wrong soup I had to wait 10 minutes for the server to walk by to stop her and let her know. My friends invited us for a boat ride from Connecticut this weekend, and it was really nice. When we pulled into the dock, I was... excited to see Claudio's- had heard about the place before. I was starving, and figured I'd get some good seafood for lunch- Iordered their sampler platter for $35....Flounder, shrimp, clam strips, scallops....you know- typical fisherman's platter. Well,as soon as it was set on the table before me, my heart sank. Frozen. May as well of been Gordon's from the case at the grocerystore....Lesson learned- do your research. U kno what it was a pretty good meal. I got the mushroom risotto and that was bangin, and the oysters were fire. Drinks were... nice as well. Service was really good, prices a bit exorbitant. Worth a visit Read more
Nice new outdoor seating, the renovation inside looks great. Food was good a bit expensive but worth it. The service and team... were excellent. They took care of me and the family. They were kid friendly and helped us move tables to accommodate for the sunand kids preferences. Thank you. Read more
Expensive lunch for four with a few drinks over $300 with tip. Passed on the MP $38 lobster roll. Service was efficient but a... little slow at the start. $15 Kettle & tonics seemed a little excessive. Oysters were good and my burger & fries was fine.Everyone else had fish & chips. Had a $38 fluke meal on the menu that looked interesting at maybe $10 less. I’m a retired guyfrom Myrtle Beach on a fixed income so these prices were sticker shock to me Yo! The price is very high but the food quality not so much. The chips were great but the fried fish reminded me of fish sticks. I... hated the breading/batter. The clam chowder was room temperature at best. The biscuits were minuscule. I thought a restaurantwith its history would have excellent food. Also the wind was high but the restaurant did not seem to have a plan/idea of theconsequences of high winds. Read more
Food was great, went with large group and everyone enjoyed their meal! Used to come years ago when family had a house nearby.... Hadn't been in decades but the servers, food and drinks were all great. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Read more
My family and I booked a reservation for Thanksgiving night. We were greeted at the door by the hostess who was friendly and... shared with us how the evening worked. Dinner was buffet style and included in the price fixed dinner, drinks were extra. (Which we already knew, it was clear when we made the reservation. However, we appreciated that she clarified.) The restauranthad sweet fall decorations. Our waitress was extremely friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Everyone had a smile on theirface. We were made to feel right at home. The manager came around to great all the patrons and checked on all the tables. Thefood was delicious!!! The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. The biscuits were some of the best we ever had. The turkey wasmoist and and the gravy was hot. The apple pie and tiramisu were great as well. Thank you Claudio’s for making ourThanksgiving night so special. Read more
