I would give less atars if I could. I went to this 4 years ago and than agreed with the 5 star but not now. I decided to suprise... my BF with what I recalled was a great guided culinary experience with local ingrients prepared in unique ways. What we got wasthe complete opposite. First the location is a rundown B&B that I do nto knowif its even open or under reno. Walked in to a darkdank building, no one greeted us. As we stood around a waiter finally asked our name adn told us to sit at any 2 seat table wewanted. From there is was down hill in a race car. The chef never introduced himself or talked about any dish. We got vagueexplaination from the server. First course was a luke warm tea over flowers the nextr course which was the only one ediblewasn't even cooked by him but a local bakery bread and butter. 3rd was overcooked almost burnt sunchocks with a tasteless creamsauce and a pay on ketchup made out of carrots - cute but the burnt taste overwhlemed everything The next was a bowl of mushygrey and I mean grey starchy undercooked dumplings. The fish was so overcooked and covered in an oily sauce side dish in a soycarmel that tasted like bad fish - Duck was tough and the side was an overcooked sweet potato topped very tart dried cherriesthat blew your palate Last I do not even recall what is what suppose to be but it was a cake that was so raw that I actually hasto spit it out in my napkin. To top it all - I went to use the bathroom - wondering around a very dark abandoned building butthe few dinner guest. No signage for restroom and no one to help - Finally located it. As I shut the door the handle felloff....I spent 10min trying to fix so I could get out. We left immediately ***both of us were sick all night This is no culinaryexperience - It is an overpriced rip off If you want to service unique dishes showcasing local ingredients at the very leastcome out to explain each dish and for the love of good food - cook it properly so others don't get sic Read more

Extraordinary! Chicken beautifully done. Matzoh ball soup as good as Grandma’s, loved the barley salad, This is truly one of... the best meals we’ve had on the north fork and we’ve been here for centuries. Thank you much! Read more

The atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic. For a price, you can bring your own alcohol, but they also have wine... available for purchase. The food was incredible. I like the fact that the menu is pre selected for you, and it changes everyweek; so if you go multiple times you won't have the same meal twice. I also like that they support local food sources for theirdinners. Everything that is served is grown/caught on the North Fork of Long Island. Reservation is required, so I woulddefinitely check it out and make the reservation ASAP. Read more

Awesome! This was the best dining experience we have had in several years and several countries. I wish we lived closer.

We had fun here, but the wine pour was pretty small.

Chef Taylor Knapp gives new meaning to farm to table. Everything is local, everything fresh, some of the menu items are foraged.... Flavors and cooking styles are mashed up to give you things like salami carrots or campfire butter. Only open on alternatingSaturdays in season (current year), this tasting experience is a quintessential part of the North Fork and not to be missed.Reservations are mandatory and often need to be made well in advance. Seating is very limited. Read more
