We stumbled upon Pearl?s while visiting the North Fork. The food was outstanding! Oddly, we were greeted by the bartender... outside (just as he finished his cigarette right in front of the restaurant) who asked to see proof of our vaccination before weentered. We produced them and were let in and sat at the bar. The bartender was the only person working and the restaurant wasclearly short staffed. We never saw him ask for any one else?s proof of vaccination status. He wasn?t able to be very attentive,for example, didn?t fill my water glass, didn?t clear our dishes and we had to request the check. Overall, the place has an oddvibe. Read more
We were greeted with two glasses of sparkling wine as the owner knew it was our Anniversary!! The Caesar salad was outstanding!... Best I have ever had! And enough to share!!! My husband had the burger which was hands down the best ever!! My gnocchi wasgreat! Light and fluffy and delicious. The wine Great as well. This certainly is a restaurant NOT to be missed. Tonight?s dinner was so amazing I hope more people find this hidden gem ?Pearl? Jess, the Chef, puts her heart and soul in her... food. Everything was off the charts amazing! I didn?t even know a Burrata and Tomatoes could be so amazing. I had the home madeRicotta Gnocchi, which was pillows of heaven! Pearl is #AMAZING Full Stop. You have got to try this jewel when you are in Greenport. Whether it?s a cocktail or the food,... the atmosphere, you will be so thankful you did!! Everything cooked to perfection. Family loved the burger and were in awe of the French Fries. The meatballs were phenomenal with... exquisite burrata. My daughter loved the gnocchi. Jessica can cook. I just went in to try a great burger. It was huge , medium, perfect. The hand cut fries were amazing. I did... start with the crab cake. Guess what? It had fresh crab meat and lots of it.. I would put it up against Maryland anyway. I wasjust recently on Maryland shore so this I know. John her husband tends that beautiful bar. Pearl is a gem nestled in Greenport. The amount of detail incorporated throughout the restaurant is astonishing (custom pearl... wall paint & hand painted shells). The decor isn?t the only thing that draws you in, the aroma is simply delicious. Jess cooksevery meal with love and passion. I look forward to returning regularly so I can continue to try every entree. The prime dryaged cheeseburger and mussels are some of my favorite plates.
