An OK spot. I tried to call to make a reservation and got a busy signal on a few attempts, then finally got through and got put... on hold so long (more than 10 minutes) that I finally hung up. But when I arrived the place wasn’t busy at all. It’s a cutespace with muted decoration and an impressive sake collection on display. Looks like the kind of place that would have goodsushi, but they only have the usual mass-imported standards other than one local catch a day. I ordered this (blackfish) and itwas good. I also got duck ramen — the smoked local duck was amazing, but the shio broth was almost inedibly salty. Tonkotsuramen was better. And the sake we chose was delicious. Service was cranky and/or aloof, but it’s Long Island. Best Japanesefood in Greenport, anyway. Read more

The best authentic Japanese cuisine you'll find on the north or south fork. I cannot recommend a single item off their menu over... any other item as it would be unfair. The quality is unmatched Read more

Delicious sushi! Wow! So fresh. Duck wrap was kinda gross tbh. 3 baby slices on limp lettuce leaves for $11. I know it's... Greenport, but girl, bye with that appy. Sushi WAS on point though. Read more

First class sushi, sake, and service. The best Japanese food I’ve had out east.

Huge variety of sake and shochu by the glass. Must try the Agedashi Tofu with it's amazing broth. Ramen is great here, and the... fish is extremely fresh. Menu items can be small, and the kitchen can take a while sometimes, but it's well worth it. Gladthey're back to using their beautiful dishes and done with the paper plates. Staff is very nice and devoted to the restaurant.Palma and Connor and Paige always take great care of us. The decor is beautiful and so is the gardening for the outdoor seating.I don't recommend the dome seating, as the outside is beautiful here and the indoor is cozy if it's cold. They often projectnature documentaries or anime onto the wall inside for some added ambiance. I highly recommend going here any time of year. Read more

Arrived right when it opened for an early dinner on a Saturday night. With only two seated tables this place struggled with the... service. Our appetizers were fine, but the sushi rolls were small, falling apart, and would stick to the paper plates. If youare looking for sushi, I guess you can go here, since it’s the only place, but be prepared to wait. While you are waiting youcan ponder: what is taking so long? why does the waitress not check on the tables? do I want another drink? do I want to comeback? no Read more

Great looking spot away from the busy touristy areas of town. The duck ramen was good although a bit pricey. Not the best I ever... had, could use a bit more flavor. Sushi was good although a bit slow to arrive (one sushi chef on Sunday night). Service wasfriendly. Nice vibes inside with good lighting and music. Sake and beer available. I do not believe they serve mixed drinksthough. Probably the most authentic Japanese spot on the North Fork. I would return. Read more
