This is the first time we visited and enjoyed ourselves. The hostess was the most blah person we met and should not have that... job or at least change her attitude. We both started with a crafted cocktail and we enjoyed them.........except the amount wasso little it was laughable. I had the pulled pork and it was delicious. My husband had the brisket and it was good but onethin piece of meat???? We saw the salmon entree and it was huge, so be careful what you order. We had the collards as an extraside and it was delicious. We had the bourbon bread pudding for dessert. It was just okay. I wouldn't order it again. Ourwaitress was pleasant and took care of us. We might go back but we would try other things. That brisket amount was ridiculous! Also we didn't feel very welcome. We might be a bit older than their clientele. Myself and a Business acquaintance stopped in for dinner while in the area for business. I had the pulled pork, she had the... shroom. We were both surprised with the quality and taste just weren't hungry enough to finish. Would definitely recommend it toanyone in the area. I went with a group of 20 or so, (from Virginia for the weekend). Being the only vegan in my group I knew there wasn't much... chance of me getting anything to eat, save a boring salad, (since it was known for it's BBQ). Well...I was in for a huge treat!I asked the waitress what she thought I could eat, being vegan.... she comes back with the chef!! Now, I've been Vegan almost 10years & this is the 2nd time this has happened. He asked what kind of foods I liked & if I trusted him...which, I saideverything &, of course I did. He made me the most beautifully presented work of art....the best tasting, flavorful plant basedmeal I've ever had in my life! I wish I lived in Greensboro! Everyone in our group raved about their food...from burgers toshrimp. I, for one, must say that it was a wonderful experience and great memory for me. I set up a birthday tasting for my husband here and we absolutely loved it. The person who helped me set it up via email was... helpful and quick to respond! The food was delicious, the bourbon was great, and they crafted a special tasting menu just forus! Also they made me a real whiskey sour with egg white. I can hardly find that anywhere so I was very happy! The only downsidewas our bartender seemed in a bit of a bad mood. He wasn’t rude, but he also wasn’t hype, just very medium-well energy.Would have loved a little more hype and excitement out of him for my husband’s birthday. Great place to take a date, or to just enjoy with friends and family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was... really nice and even funny. I absolutely loved going and the food wasn't half bad. I will be going back soon. My only complaintwas the menu could have used a few more choices. And the same could be said about the cocktail menu.
