I had lunch here, Tuesday, August 9, 2022. We arrived at 1:30ish to a mostly empty restaurant. There was only one other table... w/guests. The staff just looked up at us as I read the ?Seat Yourself? sign. No worries. Our server, Devin, brought our menus tothe table. Everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free except the pretzel bites & Mac & cheese. Yay! I got the jalapeñoburger gf, which could be on a gf bun or a wrap. I ordered the wrap & onion rings as my side. The order took a little longer,but so it goes w/special orders. The restaurant never got busy! I really want to give Devin a shout out, but he needed to moreattentative! I had to get up & get his attention to order ice cream. Btw, the ice cream is a generous portion & two can shareit. The menu states it is ?house made custard?, but I don?t think so. It eats like hand dipped ice cream, not as creamy ascustard, but a good value at $4.99. I can?t recommend this place for lunch if you are short on time. We were there over an houron a sloooww Tuesday. The burger was tasty, but far from the best I?ve ever had. This was a fantastic find for me - as one with Celiac disease, I really appreciate a solid Gluten Free menu. Not only do they... have GF buns, but they have onion rings battered in rice flour - it's been ages since I've had onion rings! What a treat. Read more
Went for a late lunch. Had eaten here a few years ago & it was blah food so we had not been back. Our daughter wanted to go so... we did. Soooo much better! It was nice that it wasn't crowded being mid afternoon. The waitress was friendly & attentive, thefood was great, & it was clean inside. We both had burgers & fries & we both enjoyed them. The fried pickles were great too. Thefood was fast and hot. We paid using a QR code on the receipt which felt weird, but they did acknowledge us as we were leaving.We will definitely go back again. I took my son here after we visited the Science Center and we had a great time. He loves cheeseburgers and I was excited to see... the robot warfare theme. I loved looking for all the details like the burger bomb decor and the shrapnel holes in the wall. Hesaid the robots look like the ones from Avatar, one of his favorite movies. He had an Old Glory burger with Mac and cheese andI had a Cobb salad. I would have liked more lettuce and topping things, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed thesalad. My son loved his burger. Afterward we shared a delicious sundae with lots of toppings. It was a really nice treat andit looked amazing too. Jojo was a wonderful waiter. Overall it was a neat atmosphere with friendly and attentive service andgreat but inexpensive food. We are definitely planning to come back and hope to bring friends and family here too. Read more
Welp, we finally did it. #SuperHubs and I took the whole fam out to supper and decided to try a new place instead of the... same-old, same-old. (Don't judge. It gets expensive taking 4 teenagers out to eat!) Once we decided on this place, though, therewas no getting out of it. And, gotta say, I'm glad we went. The decor is a little odd for my taste, but it's a theme and prettymuch matches the menu, so no biggie. Plus, according to my 13 y/o, bots are in. Lol. The staff was gracious and kind uponarrival like they were anticipating our entrance. Lol. Wait staff was great also! Our waiter kept callin' us 'Family', which Idig a-lot! The food was absolutely worth takin' another trip for. Burgers all around just the way we wanted 'em, butunfortunately, I spazzed and forgot to take pics of them. Our app, however-- the mech tots-- were the bomb dot com! Those, I didtake a pic of. How could I not? All in all, food was delish, service was excellent, cleanliness was superb. Definitely goingback. 3.5 The food was okay and got a decent amount of food. Burger was missing some flavor but taste good with the warfare sauce. The... tots were a little salty. First time coming to Burger Warfare and asked for take out and was told takeout wasn't available atthe time. Came back the next day and decided to dine in. The server was friendly and patient.
