Completely unexpected high level of service and quality of food. The dishes we had tasted like they came from grandma's kitchen... on a Sunday, I swear! ???? was really surprisingly good in a country bumpkin place. Juicy and tender. Fries were crunchy. Green fried tomato slices... were good. ???? milkshake was yummy. Young lady at register was manuvering several positions and very friendly. No one hardlythere; of course because of Labor day weekend. All in all go check it out if you going through Greensboro, NC. Good breakfast, I had Biscuits and gravy, hash browns and sausage patties. Gravy had flavor, I'm still trying to find my... favorite. Hash browns are great, it's hard to find restaurants and diners using that type. Service was fast. The cooks had anice line of browns on the grill to ensure crispy fast. The sausage patties were a little dry but it may have just been timing.Biscuits we're also good. I will be back and the lunch menu look good as well. Food was delicious! And portions were huge. Very quick and attentive service. Our server was Amanda, but I work in a restaurant... and have a bad habit of watching everyone. All the other servers were being equally attentive to their tables. They servebreakfast late and lunch early, so it's a win- win for my husband and me. We'll definitely be eating here again because therewere so many things we wanted to try on the menu, but could barely finish the first meal. Absolutely 5-star worthy. Oh, andthey have Cheerwine! I ordered CHEESE grits, eggs & sausage. Got more hash browns than grits for one. The service was disgusting, I waited around for... someone to acknowledge me for a few minutes. Everybody walked by like I wasn?t even there & greeted everyone but me. The foodwas tasty but I?ll never go back.. About 4/5 waitresses overlooked me but the manager came & asked was I being serviced.Wouldn?t recommend. Read more
Coming from out of state, and reading the reviews, we were not disappointed. Our breakfast was delicious and not the typical... run-of the-mill diner food. Generous portions. Even though it was very busy, the staff was running their tails off to take careof the guests and they were very friendly. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but we?ll worth it! Read more
