I literally thought the restaurant was closed for the night because when I pulled in, I was the only car in line. Kind of... unusual for any Cook Out joint. I ordered a BBQ platter, and a corn dog tray with chicken nuggets. I waited 15 mins for my foodonly for the hushpuppies to be overcooked and the nuggets undercooked. It looked like the young lady was working all 3 windows -both drive thru windows and the walk up window. It seemed a bit chaotic for it not being a rush hour. Read more
Change menu name to mystery tray that way everyone will realize they'll be surprised. Ask for straw for your drink, more that 1... ketchup for your fries, a fork, and napkins. Please expect bad attitude, to be rushed, no mask, hair net, and incorrect orderwithout proper coin change. Read more
This trip sucked from the beginning! The wait was awful & if I could've gotten outta the line I would've driven off...We ordered... We headed out to the Wet and Wild Water Park for round 3 since we have season passes. Before stopping there we went to The... Cookout and ordered through their drive through. The customer service was polite. The meals we given in a timely manner. Thecombos were all at good prices and the food was all devoured. The cup sizes for their combos were pretty big and a pleasantsurprise on a very hot summer's day. I'd do back again. Read more
I don?t want to give a star. This was the worst experience. I ordered a peach milkshake and when I received my shake there was... chocolate all over the cup. I asked the cashier if she would get me another because I didn?t want to taste the chocolate. Thecashier got an attitude and tried to wipe my cup off. I said to her no I wanted an entirely new shake. She closed the window,said a few things and began to make another shake. Another coworker handed me the new shake. I told her thank you and went on myway. Once I got to my destination I pick my shake up to place the straw in and a fingernail fell from my cup!!!! I took theshake back and as livid. I was shocked at how many cares they didn?t have for the situation. I have never and never will againeat at any cookout. I?m done. This is how restaurants get lawsuits. Read more
Is this a joke ?? I ordered a Cajun chicken tray with double Cajun fries and a side of chicken tenders. My tenders look like... nuggets and one piece didn?t even have chicken in it, just breading. My fries are less than what one side of fries looks likeand have zero Cajun seasoning on there. My sandwich had just cheese and chicken on it. My drink had zero ice in it. PEOPLE GETPAID TO WORK. Do not go here, the one in Wendover is amazing. But stay away from the Gave City Cookout. The employees are terrible,... unprofessional, full of attitude and are guaranteed to screw up your order.
