What a lovely restaurant, offering two of my favorite cuisines - Italian and Peruvian...and both done so well! We had baked... empanadas to start. So many other places deep fry their empanadas, giving this popular pastry a bad rep, but here they bake themand the result is so much more superior, full of flavor yet light. The Peruvian rotisserie chicken came with Peruvian stir fryrice, both delicious. And the pizza that came from the brick oven was top notch as well. The service was friendly andattentive. Just through casual conversations with my friend, I mentioned Viva chicken and how I like their food. My friend immediately... recommended to meet up again at Embur Fire Fusion. And boy....was she right about it. Embur Fusion serves great authentic foodfrom Peru and draws inspirations from other latin cultures as well.....hence the word fusion. The food is better than VivaChicken and so are the prices....they are a little higher. I would not mind paying that bill over again cause it is well worthit. High quality food and balanced flavors just light up your palate. The interior decor is chic, customer service is great andthere is quite a buzz at this place. We went during lunch but my friend mentioned that this placed is packed in the evenings.My biggest concern about this restaurant is parking....it is a bit tight. I believe this restaurant is under new management based on older reviews. We visited for lunch and the waitress was very helpful... and friendly explaining menu and suggesting dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious and fast served. It is an intimate placeso if you get bothered by bistro type places sitting close to other people then this place or any place downtown for that matteris not for you. Overall our experience was great and look forward to trying their salmon salad. The steak does have a priceincrease so be mindful when ordering online if you have ordered in the past. Read more
Embur has been such a treat. The restaurant is very nice and service superb. But the food, OMG, the food is so good. The... churrasco steak it?s fries and salad was so delicious. The steak so tender and the fries so crispy. Not to mention how zesty thesalad was. The chicken on the grill and arroz chaufa was exceptional. Their old fashioned drink was on point and they evenpoured the Stella Artois the right way. Overall, fantastic. We haven?t had great Peruvian food since Miami. Update 4/9/22:brought my son here and he is a chef in Utah. He was blown away by the churrasco steak. Jeff, who is a bartender at heart and aJames Bond super fan, makes drinks that are superb. He even made a new drink for my wife called the ?Kenya?, a Tito?s vodka withlemon juice, Aperol, and some other secret ingredients. We are always so happy coming here. I highly recommend it. Fresh food, good drinks. Only minus is the amount of smoke coming from kitchen cooking. They need an exhaust fan or open the... doors to get the smoke out. The roasted chicken and the skirt steak are my two favorites. Can't go wrong with the house riceeither. Read more
Came here with the family for Father?s Day. Well, we all loved this place, the service is outstanding, the food is absolutely... delicious, nice atmosphere, good parking lot. This will definitely turn into one of our favorite places to go inGreensboro. The flavors are unique and amazing. Their Ceviche is out of this world, it is really really good. The Lomo Saltadois good as well. The Barramundi is incredible and the Empanadas are wowwww!!! Read more
I was hesitant at first, hearing it was an Italian and Peruvian fusion restaurant, but I was wrong to be. It was surprisingly... very good. The food was fresh and everything was seasoned well. Their pizza was thin, yet not floppy. The salad had a greatdressing. The rice gave me a lot of Asian vibes with the bean sprouts. The steak was not entirely tender, but it is entirelyexpected because it is a skirt steak. The service was great. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitelycome again.
