Hopefully this was a rough night because everything we ordered was not good. The lo mein was greasy. The happy hunan chicken had... thick, gloopy sauce. The waitress was sweet but there’s no way we will go back. Pricey for what we got.. Plus everything wasserved on paper plates with no chop sticks and stale fortune cookies. Read more

First experience here. Our order was filled correctly and arrived on time, but the food was really some of the worst we’ve... had. Eggs rolls were microscopic and tasted like the fry oil was old, the General Tso’s Chicken was slimy and breading wastranslucent because it had been made hours and hours ago. Soup didn’t taste right either. Only thing that wasn’t bad was therice, but it’s rice. Read more

I ordered 30 minutes before I arrived and the food was ready when I got there. Had to drive another 30 minutes to get home... before I could try it and everything was still hot. Also delicious. Definitely want to go back! Read more

Fantastic and authentic Chinese food! I have LIVED in China so I know good Chinese food when I eat it. This restaurant is run... by a Chinese family from Fuzhou and they really know how to cook a wide variety of dishes. Easily the best Chinese food inGreensboro. Read more

**IGNORE NEGATIVE REVIEWS** Seriously, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was polite and professional. I... recommend trying the "Crispy Duck in Garlic Sauce." One of the best dishes I've had at ANY restaurant. The seasoning was freshand immaculately balanced, and the duck was cooked perfectly. The chef is clearly brilliant. I will be recommending this spot toeveryone I know. Read more

Went to try the new Gourmet China today. It's not the same menu as Captain Chen's but it's got some really good dishes. We tried... three dishes - Sichuan diced chicken in spicy sauce, double cooked pork belly and Sichuan noodles. I was so happy that each dishwas really good. And the food was actually spicy. I LOVE spicy food. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The young manthat was our waiter did a good job asking if we needed anything and made sure we had refills on drinks. Read more

Real authentic "classic" main land Chinese food. This is probably one of the most culturally authentic restaurants in the area.... You will NOT FIND fried rice, egg rolls or sweet and sour chicken or anything close to what you would find on a buffet orChinese take out. You wont even find sticky rice, dumplings or hot sour soup but you will find classic egg drop soup! This isclassic Chinese food using tripe, bone in chicken and beef bone. I was thrilled to find pickled radish in the soup and found thechicken in red pepper sauce to be spicey but not hot. The tripe was flavorful and soup delicate with soft flavor and seasoning. And the steamed rice was the best prepared rice I have ever had but note, you have to ask for it as a side. Calling all foodiesand adventure eaters!!! Read more
