I bought a head of lettuce two days ago...was brown inside. Was expecting a critter to crawl out!!
The store is mediocre. The selection is ok. But they are not to bright in there. The butcher does not know the difference... between chicken tender and chicken breast. Tenders are more expensive. I was trying to purchase breast and will not pay tender price. Food is expensive as it is I just want what I'm paying for, The store manager and butcher could not understand a thing Iwas saying.they are a very slow unmotivated dull group in that store. The store is great, but there is at least one cashier that could use some real training in customer service. Her name is... Madison and I avoid her lane when I see her. She's the type to never even glance your way when checking out and if you dare askher a question the look you get is less than friendly. Today was the last straw with her. I had trouble with the checkoutmachine reading my chip in my atm card. When I asked her about it she says "what did you just say to me" bit with a tone asthough I said something nasty. It was a simple inquiry, nothing more. Luckily my card worked on the next attempt. She was nohelp. I finally said something to a person behind the counter at the back of the store today. I?m very picky about my cakes, let me just say that first. Lots of bakeries charge an arm and a leg for a dry heap of fondant... and my mom was having a hard time figuring out where to get a fox cake made for my birthday. She called around and no one waswilling to do it. I had got my mom?s Mother?s Day much simpler cake (a sheet cake with roses) from Lowes Foods so we were likelet?s just call and see if they can do it. I love that whenever I come to the store I can get a custom cake at the bakery. At least three times I've decided to get a cake... the day I needed it and each time there was a great employee in the bakery who customized the cake while I waited. And they alltasted so good! Lowe's Foods is always a delight to visit. Almost always, their grocery stores are super clean, organized, aisles stocked,... excellent staff, and so much more. The general vibe of their stores makes me feel like I'm shopping somewhere local and whereeveryone knows each other.
