As McDonald's restaurants go, this was pretty decent, except their drink station. The drink station in the lobby has a section... that will rock up and spill the drink you just dispensed if you set it there and only one of the ice machines works (seems to bea problem in NC), but the bathroom was clean, and so was the lobby. Strange exit pattern to get back to interstate though due tono U-turns at a local signal light, you have to take a right out of the parking lot, you take a right to get into the parkinglot as well. Traveling through we stopped for a quick bite to eat. The McChicken sandwich was cold and not very good, the fries my husband... had were ok, the apple pie was good. The young man that took our order was distracted by something or someone in his viewbehind us as he kept looking away. When he took the payment he was $2 short and said he would have to get change. He proceededto take the next order after he walked over to a person helping with filling orders. I got my order, had to ask for the cup forthe drink and after my husband got his coke, I had to ask the young man again for my change. He went back to the manager whothen went to the back to get the change he needed. Not a good experience as I felt I was interrupting their day. Read more

I am a Uber eats driver. I received an order around 10:45pm last night. I was about 13 minutes away and knew they closed at... 11pm. I called and spoke with Casey and explained that I didn't want to drive all that way to only find they couldn't processthe order. The order had not popped up for them yet because it doesn't come through until the driver is close enough toMcDonald's. This way the order is fresh. Anyway, she was amazingly kind and understanding. When I showed up they had the orderready the drive thru person was polite and friendly. This by far was one of the best examples of excellent customer service Ihave seen in awhile, so I thank them once again. I have had horrible experiences at several McDonald's during late nightpickups. I have waited in a long line for 30 minutes only to find they said they didn't have the order. Most fast foodrestaurants do not even answer the phone, so you can not verify ahead of time. All McDonald's should take note of this storescustomer service whomever the manager is doing an excellent job and should be training other managers in my opinion. Read more

This use to be my favorite one until today. How do have a full staff and be dysfunctional all the way around. Management needs... to be changed. Crew needs better training. This is my stance being a Asst. manager myself of a restaurant. I waited in drivethru over 5 mins experienced the same thing inside. Not mention to mention the manager didn?t even check on all service areasto ensure all guest are taking care of properly extend your apologies for delays. First they charged me for someone else?s giant order. They fixed it after I mentioned it to them. Secondly, They didn?t put any... chicken nuggets in my child?s meal and didn?t realize til I already got home to feed him. So I had to drive back to the damnlocation to get them! Been here a few times now, I prefer it to the Gate City and Randleman locations mainly because it is in a less busy area! They... are always fast with mobile orders too :) Read more
