I get cravings for chicken pot pie once every few months, so I searched on Google for a restaurant carrying it and came across... the Cherry Pit Cafe shop. I also happen to like fruit pies, so finding out they made all kinds of pies was kind of like a dreamcome true. They were fairly busy when I walked in, but they still got my order in a timely manner. The workers were wearing pishirts. They have one of those coke touch screen machines, which is cool if you drink not water. They've got a nice interiorwhite, black, wood, and red color scheme going on. It's a nice place to sit down and eat, for sure. A cool bonus is you cansee the metric amount of pies people order at once. The food itself satiated my craving for pie, and it was a ton of food. Igot full and couldn't finish it all, so I never got to taste my sides. The pies themselves were kind of just alright and didn'tparticularly stand out to me in any way. I'll still probably come back here though. Another nice thing is they have a punchcard where you can redeem free pies based on if you order whole pies or slices. It's counted as one pie / slice a visit, Ithink. Overall, if you want pie, and eat it frequently, it's a pretty hard deal to pass up. Read more

Had a great experience here. Although it was close to closing time, I was still able to order what I wanted. The California... Burger was excellent and the brownie for dessert was awesome. Everything thing tasted "fresh" and handmade. From real avocadoslices to fresh tomatoes and spinach, I really enjoyed it. Price for quantity was definitely better than what I expected. I willbe returning again for some more meals. Also, their pies are excellent! We always get a few for family gatherings. Read more

Solid little place, glad we stumbled upon it. Food is reasonably priced, portions are adequate and everything is clearly made... from scratch. Staff is pleasant and the food arrived at our table in a reasonable amount of time; everything was at the propertemperature. We enjoyed our meal and we'll be back soon to try more of the menu! So, it?s a Monday afternoon and I?m hungry! I didn?t want to cook and I wanted to try a new restaurant. After a Google search of... nearby restaurants, I chose Cherry Pit Cafe & Pie Shop! I ordered online for pickup. I placed my order while I was still homeat 2:14pm. The ETA for my food being ready was 15-30 minutes. Ordering online charged a $1.50 convenience fee. As I?m typingthis, I realized I could?ve just called and placed the order to avoid that.. Oh well. After ordering, I went ahead and headedto the restaurant since I didn?t live far away. got the Big Tex Burger (BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato ongrilled Parmesan Texas toast) minus the tomato and lettuce and added grilled onions. As a side, I got the sweet potato tots. OnMondays, they have $2 off burgers. They have a special for each day of the week. I arrived at 2:19pm. Of course, my food wasn?tready yet. However, while browsing, I saw a desert item that looked delicious: Brownie Ate My Cookie. I ended up getting thattoo when my order was ready. I can?t say when that was because I stepped out to take a phone call. When I went back in around2:45pm, it was ready. I didn?t like how they didn?t put my dessert is the bag with my food. The staff person just placed it ontop. When I got in the car, the food and dessert smelled delicious and i was eager to get home and satisfy my hunger! The totswere tasty and were as expected. I enjoyed my burger as well, especially the toast! The Brownie Ate My Cookie was veryinteresting. I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm it/soften it. The cookie was in the middle. It was very chocolateyand definitely came apart while I was eating it. This could?ve been caused by me warming it up. Nonetheless, it was tasty butI?m not sure if I?d get again. Read more

Great place in Greensboro for home cooked comfort food. They have something for everyone --- breakfast, lunch, dinner items. I... love their made-to-order quiche for a convenient breakfast when hosting guests, plus they have the yummiest pies and dessertoptions! Cute diner style restaurant with very nice and friendly staff. My family and I are repeat customers! Read more

Great breakfast place!! Small cafe diner vibe, friendly staff, and hot food. I love the french toast and grits. The bacon is... tasty as well. It's not thin and tasteless like other places. Good prices and I'll be back. Only thing I'd suggest is don'torder toast for delivery. It sweats in the styrofoam and is soggy by the time it gets delivered. Read more

Had breakfast there and it was hot and delicious. The menu is nothing crazy, very traditional American breakfast. Which can be... great because it?s simple to order. The sweet options are awesome. We had the French toast platter and a croissant sandwich withthe home fries. The home fries were nice and crispy. We accompanied that with a coffee and orange juice. The coffee wasn?t hot, more lukewarm but tasty. The coconut cream pie was delicious! Not overly sweet, just had a great balance. The customer servicewas very pleasant. Overall good breakfast. I will most likely go back for another slice of pie ???? Read more
