I absolutely love Tropical Smoothie Cafe,however, this location wasn't coming to that expectation. Upon entering the... establishment, it was extremely hot. I took a breath and patiently awaited to place my order. I waited for about 5-10 minutesbefore a worker entered from outside and went directly to the cash register. She didn't wash her hands, greet me or apologizefor the wait. Ok, cool. The worst part was them skipping my order and me having to inquire, only for them to get an attitude. Iam extremely dissatisfied with the service today. The final straw was getting my smoothie, with someone else name on it, and nothave any orange juice in my Sunrise sunset. They weren't concern because they had to make their plans for the party they wereattending. SMH. Read more
Wait Time: 3 minutes for one flatbread. 13 minutes for two smoothies. Out of: Egg for an item previously wanted, had to change... to another. Out of yogurt for smoothies. Opinions: Staff was friendly, person taking orders did not have air pods in, which israre. Seemed to have enough people on staff. Flatbread had more pesto than chicken. There's one specific lady who is ALWAYS rude! She's short and has an Afro. She behaves as if customers are inconveniencing her... by coming in asking questions about the menu items before placing an order. We have had some nice encounters with other staffwho have taken the time to explain menu items and such but this lady in particular every time she's working you can expect toreceive big attitude and smart comments!!! She seems like she hates her job actually & it isn't just myself & family I'vewatched her act this way towards other customers who were in the store the same time as myself! I love tropical smoothie but this location is the absolute WORST! They?re either out of everything or closed and the customer... service is garbage. ???? Today took the cake my smoothie wasn?t even blended all the way it?s like they just put the fruit andjuice in the cup and sent it out. I want to start by saying that Tropical Smoothie used to be such an amazingly healthy treat that I looked forward to after... workouts or long days at work. The Avocalado USED TO BE my absolute, hands down favorite. This location ruined it after Iordered it for the 2nd time. When I called to inform them that it was disgusting, I never got an answer. I went somewhere fordinner and called later that night and finally got an answer. When I spoke with the employee the person wasn?t sympathetic atall. I was asked if I wanted a refund and in my mind I only wanted what I paid for! After 2 months I gave this place its FINALgo round. This location is never available. I can never get anyone on the phone immediately to correct the HORRIBLE tastingsmoothies I?ve gotten from here 2/3 times I?ve ordered delivery while at work. Secondly, I don?t know if recipes have changed orthe workers just do not care anymore about the taste or quality of the smoothies but they are no longer good, watered down andno stiffness. I was told the location doesn?t have any food but I ordered online so how would I have known? This means that Ipaid for my food and DID NOT RECEIVE IT! I am livid. They have a lot of smoothies to choose from, as well as different supplements and add-in options. They have incorporated new... options for the supplements as well. The food is limited and is on the pricier side if you think about the amount you get, butit is not entirely that bad. The wait can be long sometimes, so you have to time your visits. Read more
Every time I come here something is always messed up with my order. I rather drive the 15 minutes across town to the one on... Wendover. Tonight the older woman made my sandwich but made it with balsamic sauce and no tomatoes. She then said "well itdidn't say that" Although on the app that sauce is not an option. Then when it was remade my cheese was not melted (looked likeslapped on shredded cheese) and it still had no tomatoes. There were also black beans this time. So I went back to ask them if Icould have the tomatoes. She took my sandwich, walked over to the station, didn't wash her hands or put on gloves and just threwtomatoes on there and slid my sandwich back to me. There needs to be a supervisor because the tropical smoothie on this collegecampus does not care enough to make your food correctly. I am never coming back to this one Read more
