This was my first experience at Village Tavern and I was very pleased. I made a reservation for 1pm and was seated on time as... scheduled. The environment was very relaxing and even had an option for patio seating which was nice. The service was great andthe food and drinks were really good! I had a Lemon Berry Sangria that was delicious! I'm a big seafood person-the crab dip andshrimp tacos had so much flavor! Very satisfied from start to finish! Definitely will be making another visit! Emma was our waitress. She was fun, entertaining and very efficient!! All of the rave reviews are correct! This place is tastebud heaven! Among the best I've encountered, simply amazing. We started... off with fresh fried potatoe chips & the fried oyster appetizer. Perfect ???? Even down to the red sauce that came with theoysters... Loved it. Our main course - firecracker tacos - off the chart with flavor 10oz filet cooked to perfection! Warm inthe middle, medium done at its best. This was our 1st time here, as we drove down from Roanoke, VA to see Hamilton and wantedsomething on the finer side. Phenomenal. Have tried this place and Winston and there always on point. My lady and I always over order and like to split... main dishes, VT always plates them up as splits for us and we love that. Point there is to notice my photos are split plates sothe dishes are actually larger. My go to is the shrimp and grits and delmonico ribeye. The crab cakes will make you slapyourself silly too, yum! I don’t hand out 5 stars usually but this is ???? hands up my favorite restaurant in the triad. Read more
First experience - took sister in love there for her birthday and it was great. Food was fresh took a little long to get it out... but overall cool vibe! For desserts butter cake and carrot cake- delicious and a great portion...well worth bucks! Read more
First time here... amazing experience overall. The food was great I would definitely recommend anyone coming to try the fried... calamari but the steak was made to a perfect medium definitely savory I did dislike the garlic mashed potatoes due to I felt ittasted like boxed spuds.
