I am pregnant. Pregnant me really wanted a chicken bowl. We spent $25 and somehow they forgot to put the chicken bowl in the... bag. My husband picked up our order and we were not given a receipt so not only do we live 30 min from the restaurant, but wehad no way of proving we paid for another bowl that we did not receive. They are extremely kind, especially Blake. He had to take multiple orders and then go put together our food because they are... extremely understaffed. He did what he could to get it out fast, delicious, and quantitive. I highly recommend the GreensburgKFC/LJS, and if you are there during the weekend ask for a Blake Allen. Read more
The staff is normally friendly, but the speed is pretty slow. Food is fine, nothing great. There is an attached John Silvers but... they almost never serve it. Read more
This place should be shut down after over 2 decades of bad service that I have lived here. Ordered 2 piece extra crispy meal... with a biscuit and mashed potatoes and I got chicken from what looked like the day before and no biscuit. The mashed potatoesand napkins was the only thing that was right. Batesville Indiana and Greensburg KFC owned by same people. Batesville told usone time that the reason why our chicken was almost black was because they are not allowed to change their oil as often as theyshould. The last time I went here, the guy making my food had a blister on his thumb with no gloves on. Then this last time that I went... there, I order my food, get to the window, wait 10 minutes for the lady to tell me that she didn't have the food that I orderedin the freezer. Went to get the family meal with my parents and daughter. Waited a long time through the drive-thru which is understandable. We... asked for extra crispy. Got to the window and they said that all they have is original and crispy. And I told them I orderedextra crispy. So we waited another 20 minutes. We were there for a very long time and when they finally handed our food. I askedif it was crispy. The young girl asked her co-worker or whoever and she replied back in a very disrespectful way and told herit's mixed when we got home. It was nothing but original and not very well done. So I do not know what is going on in thatplace. I've had some bad experiences the past few times but this time it was the last straw. I don't know who's in charge therebut they need to get off their butts and get on it with the orders and what not. Overall I will never go there again because itwas just a really bad experience and no one should go there unless they truly need to. Read more
This was a pretty sad experience. My parents and I stopped through this town to grab some dinner and went in to order our food.... The restaurant was by no means busy with only one person inside when we arrived and the drive thru wasn't that busy either. Wegot 2 KFC Famous bowl meals, and my mom got a 2 piece fish platter with fries and hush puppies. The bowls are supposed to alsocome with a cookie and silverware obviously to eat it with. Neither of the cookies were given to us and they only gave us onefork. My mom's fish were puny, and actually appeared to have been cut in half before fried and she said it also tasted as thoughit had been reheated as well with a pretty sad portion of fries to go with it. My mom had filled her cup with the yum berrydrink, but after a sip poured it out and chose another option as it tasted like well water. While waiting for our food (whichthey never announced was ready and we found just placed on the counter) another lady walked in and said that the biscuits hadbeen left out of her order and she tried calling several times, to which the employee responded that the phone wasn't working -shouldn't that be addressed by now if you know it's not working? Though we didn't have to wait long, it's pretty unfortunatethat the job was done so poorly here. And though we could not determine what it was, there was a foul oder in the lobby as well.Though we'll never be back because it was just for a stop on a road trip, I feel like it would be unkind not to warn othersbefore choosing to go here.
