Amanda was GREAT! She knew my husband is having a hard time walking, they weren't really busy, so she saw us coming in and came... and opened the door and held it open till we got in, the cook did a fantastic job on the meal, served piping hot! ????. Amandamade a balloon animal for my husband, made his day! She took the time to listen to his order, had trouble getting his wordsright, but she got it. Huddle House was super busy but the staff still was pleasant. We were able to get a table that held 5 of us and we had some... others seated close to us. So yeah. The service was okay. The food.... I think I'll pass on any steak dish from now on. I got ayucky steak from them a few years ago. That was for dinner. This time I was there for breakfast. I ordered a steak omelette andit was supposed to have grilled onions and mushrooms and cheese as well as steak tips. It came out with shredded steak that wasdry and hard to eat, onions that were still raw, but the mushrooms were good. I did order hash browns all the way, and they werenot great. It was a pretty disappointing experience. They did give me the omelette free, but I was just hungry for good food. Read more
Long day for my husband and I. We decided to stop in to Huddle House in Greenville,IL. BEST decision ever made! I ordered the... Came about 7pm for dinner. Seemed the rush was over as we were the only ones there. However, the grilled chicken sandwich was... great! It was tasty and very moist. The cook asked what I wanted on it and gave me a few choices. Wife had the grilled chickensalad and it was great also. Nice diner like place that was very clean. Waitress was very attentive. If traveling thru willdefinitely hit this place up. Read more
This place is awesome! I would rather go to huddle house than waffle house. I had never been to one before but the customer... service, the staff and the food were all excellent. I ordered a breakfast plate with a chocolate chip waffle. Next time if I amin the area I will go back. Read more
