Passing through and glad we did! What a warm and welcoming place - the staff were super friendly and what made our dining more... special was the compliment I received from the restaurant manager on my hair cut - thank you! :) Parking is on the street, nocoin/paid parking. It is a touristy area so it can get full real fast during peak seasons! Atmosphere was chill, location anamazing lake view, food fantastic and all-around happy place My husband and I had a lovey waitress named Sam, she was soadorable and had the best smile the entire time. We ordered the pulled pork onion rings appetizer and bacon wrapped steak tipappetizer... scrumptious!! The pulled pork onion rings was worth the two hour drive just in itself! NO JOKE The onion rings arebeer battered, not breaded. Topped with pulled pork, jalapenos, coleslaw and BBQ sauce. * They do chop up the jalapenos in themixture so if you do not like them, let them know * The onion rings were quite large and worth the $15 and can be eaten betweentwo or three adults as a meal. I am happy to say that we, fortunately, will be back in the area in December and will bestopping in for something else on the menu!! Read more

It was a bust Labor Day weekend and they were short staffed. We had lunch with just a little wait. The wait staff worked... together and our food came quickly. Portions were generous and the food was good. There is inside, outside, and bar seating. Great experience! Read more

Pretty disappointed with our experience here. Came here on a quiet Monday night, one of the staff came over and asked us to wait... for the host to be seated - no problem at all. He then recognized the customers that came in after us and proceeded to seat themhimself first while leaving us waiting for the host, which felt very rude. Our server was pleasant, but both good and drinkstook quite some time especially considering how quiet it was and how much staff there was. All of our dishes were prettylackluster, and on top of that our food came out in two batches (there were just 4 of us but 2 of us waited almost 10 minutesfor our food after the other 2 had gotten theirs). I had asked for onion rings but got fries, which was fine and I assumed itwas an error on the servers part and chose not to bring it up, but we were then charged the additional price for the onionrings. We were really hoping to like Dockside but just felt continuously disappointed and likely won't try it again for quitesome time. Read more

Great views from the deck. Waiter was friendly. Beer was nice and cold. Food was overpriced and not very good at all. Fish... sandwich was small portion and did not taste fresh. I originally wanted the pulled pork sandwich but was told they were out.About 10 minutes later I am pretty sure I saw someone get served pulled pork. Perhaps that was the last portion. Odd to run outof food during lunch. Will not be returning. Read more

Great location! I would go back and have a drink but not eat. We were here two years ago and the fish sandwich was very good... and it seemed very fresh. The breading was excellent and the portion was generous. This time though we had the fish and chips. Two small pieces of fish that was previously frozen and breaded from a package. It did not seem breaded at the restaurant andat most Maine restaurants they bread the fish on site. What could be better than Maine cod or haddock fish and chips? Thismeal was not like that. I would go back and have a drink and possibly pizza but that is it. In addition portions have beenslashed due to inflation. I looked at other reviews and saw pictures of food dishes that patrons posted. I think it is it ormiss. You take your chances. Saw some dishes of an item that looked great and others of the same thing that looked awful. Sawa great fish and chips picture but our were not like that. I think when they run out of an item normally made fresh they mustpop a few frozen fish pieces in to fry. Perhaps I would call ahead next time and see if I am right about the frozen fish. If Icould see the fish before they cook it and be sure it wasn't from a package maybe I would go again. Otherwise, no. I rememberyears ago Greenville had some great restaurants but not now. I can make better meals at home myself. Read more

Great view, amazing food. The view was great, right on the water. The restaraunt was slammed with people- yet we got our food... in fairly short order. Food quality was amazing - this is the best food I?ve had since our Royal Caribbean cruise back in March. My wife had the moose burger, I had fish and chips w/sweet potato fries? Phenomenal! Will be back for sure! Read more

Ordered pizza for take out the other day. It ranks among some of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. They were big as well. The... time for pick up was very accurate, felt like he slid them out of the oven as we walked in the door. The workers maybe even theowner behind the bar was very friendly and genuinely happy to see us. We will definitely be back! Read more
