Nothing like this anywhere!! Insane Feed!!! Words cannot describe how incredible this staple of the South continues to be?. They... deliver amazing food day in and day out, year after year. This is an institution of steakery. You walk in and your senses areoverwhelmed by the amazing smells and sights of the kitchen. I have never seen steaks if this size ever! They are massive! The atmosphere here is AMAZING and the food is even better. Definitely recommend Doe's to everyone. I got the ribeye and it was... perfect. We had shrimp both ways as an appetizer and I'm still dreaming of the broiled shrimp, it was all cooked perfectly. Read more

Best steak I have ever had I ordered mine blue rare and boy was it great cooked perfect, the tamales were great as well. Looks a... little skeptical from the outside but I guarantee you will like the food. Hands down. I had gotten the porterhouse, tamales withcheese and chili and shrimp and I was very satisfied. I had to take a dozen tamales home for the wife to try since I was workingin Greenville for work. I am going to try the Paducah location and see if it is even close to this restaurant. Read more
If you were to drive by this place, you probably wouldn't think of stopping. It looks like an old, rundown house in a bit so... good part of town. Don't let that fool you though, Doe's has amazing food. Everything from the boiled shrimp and the amazingsteaks. I usually prefer to do my own steaks, but Doe's is on point, absolutely amazing food. Decided to try Does after hearing how famous the steak was? The place is small but slick cozy? As soon as you walk in you?re... looking directly at the cooks cooking the steak. Not sure if that?s a good or bad thing, but it?s definitely different. Thestaff was wonderful and the service was on point. I won?t say it?s the best steak I?ve ever eaten, and the prices were on thehigh side. The salad was delicious and the sweet tea was bussin!! Crazy cool local place to eat. Great atmosphere, family kitchen kinda layout and simple easy menu. Pick what you want, it... doesn't matter, it's gonna be good. Make sure you save up your allowance tho, you pay for what you get. Read more
Friendly folks and atmosphere, had the shrimp both ways ,steak( bone n ribeye) cooked medium, and the dozen hot tamales ????,all... was good: steak 2lbs a little hard to chew ! Shrimp fried was great! Broil was just okay ,tamales was excellent ????, 4 stars assteak was not as good as expected and price was 150.00 plus a 20 for tip and 3 hr drive to try them out ! All and all was worththe experience just wish steak would have been chewable for $70.00 There is a fragile line between a delicious, tender, andjuicy steak that will excite your taste buds and one that will make you regret ordering a steak in the first place. If you knowwhat we are talking about, chances are you experienced eating a tough and chewy steak. A tough and chewy steak is a frustratingexperience.
