Sherman's was highly recommended by the owner of the Belmont 1857 BnB and it was fabulous. The waitress was so friendly and the... restaurant was exceptionally clean and well kept. The food was by far some of the best. We had the ribs , chicken parmasanwith Alfredo, South Main Chicken Grill which I highly recommend and the chopped sirloin. This mess is terrible the shrimp 6 to be exact ???? was like mashed potatoes ???? when I ate it. It was season-less and had a... smell to it! They use to cook it fine before they closed down what a waste of over priced food when they should have paid me toeat it!?. I wouldn?t serve this stuff to my dog ???? Sherman's it was in a different location and Gordon Ramsay hadn't came through yet and did a Terminator on the front doorLOL.???? I was in town for Memorial Day weekend and had lunch there with my best friend . The food was wonderful! ????Thefront of the house staff and my waitress was SO Southern and SO full of hospitality!???????? That Southern Charm just cannot bebeat! That is very important when you come in to get service! I miss that! The catfish was cooked to Perfection as only theMississippi Delta cook's can do! ?????I will definitely be making this the first spot on my list to go back to when I returnhome! Greenville is fortunate to have such a staple restaurant in town! ???????? Food was delicious. We had the poboys. The bread was out of this world. However, the food came out warm because it sat in the... kitchen too long. Our waitress took our order and disappeared, never to be seen again until it was time to pay. Needed a drinkrefill, but our waitress wasn?t anywhere to be found. Gordon Ramsey made over this place, and it shows. But??someone needs totrain some of the wait staff about being friendly and efficient. People at the front desk were absolutely great. Read more
