Didn\'t realize there would be more on my food than what was listed on the menu. Atmosphere is good, but I can\'t lie it made me... feel kinda weird eating food in such a dim setting. It was night and it is outdoor seating, but there are ways to light up atable a little better than relying on the street lights, headlights and the moon. Service was good and staff was nice, though. This was the perfect spot for a casual and delicious light meal on a beautiful evening. This place just opened in May 2022 and... currently has all outdoor seating, but there are fans that help make it comfortable. The atmosphere is wonderful -- relaxing andfun, complete with a DJ, cornhole, and major visual appeal. The food is out of this world -- by far the most authentic Mexicanwe\'ve had other than at Mexican friends\' homes. It is pricey compared to many Mexican restaurants, but as long as you gounderstanding that the cost will be offset by the taste and the ambiance you will be glad you decided to try Amante Tacos. My husband and I finally decided to try Amante last night. The area was pretty nice, the drinks were okay, & the food was a bit... expensive for one taco. I ordered the shepherd (the meat was way too done, it was hard to chew on) , & thigh high (the chickenwas just too spicy for me). Read more

The names of the tacos are more exciting than the actual dish. Very nice location and outdoor setting. Would recommend if you... just want to have a few drinks and hang out. Read more

No simple plain tacos i was disappointed. They are catered to the newer generation, but being near the college i pretty good...... kinda pricey but did not fill me up so i spent more and more.. i would probably just come back for the drinks and hopefully theyguy will use a fork for my limes this time. Its a no for me Read more

This was $8 (1 taco-“bounty hunter”). Not terrible but not that impressed. Tasted alright but not much flavor. Nice to be... outside, but between the flies, the heat, and the flash thunderstorm, I would have rather been inside. Worth a try if you areinterested in this aesthetic experience, but beware, it’s a tad expensive for a family dinner. The AC in the bathroom wasnice, though! Read more

The food was okay but $7 for one taco is a little audacious for me. It was good, don’t get me wrong… but it’s a taco. Went... for one of the soft opening nights and the bartender looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. I was sitting at the bar and Icould be wrong but I got the distinct impression he was avoiding eye contact so he didn’t have to ask what I wanted. Hewasn’t the only one that did this either, he is just the one I remember the most. And not for nothing but for an $11 drinkI’d like the tamarind candy straw in the drink please, like the menu said. I can’t say the same for the girls on the patiofloor, they were very nice and very attentive once I moved over there. So overall, food was tasty yet grossly over priced, sameto be said for the drinks. It is a lovely place to sit, restaurant itself is very well put together. I think how I’d wrap thisexperience up is style over substance. Nice for Instagram pics but not excited about much else. Read more
