Okay so first this place used to actually be good . I first went with my ex enjoyed my drink, my food and everything . Went back... about a week ago the food was great but the drinks were terrible . Something tasted like old fruit in my drink . And myboyfriend just didn't like his sides, which wasn't the restaurant's fault he's just picky. But then we went back lastnight(cause they're one of the only cars that close late), and I ordered the same thing I did about a week ago and omg omg. Sothe waitress who was okay, brings me my plate, says "they gave you one piece of salmon I had to make them add another causethat was not enough!" and my first instinct after really looking is to send it back. The rice pilaf was half missing, hard, dryand in one clump. So dry that it taste parcooked, but it wasn't it had just developed a "crust". My vegetable side consisted oftwo pieces of broccoli, and three slices of zucchini and squash, and three cherry tomatoes. Yes 7 pieces of tiny vegetables. Thesauce the came with my food, was somehow on his plate tonight and not mine. And honestly if I hadn't ordered this EXACT samemeal a week before I would've assumed this what my plate was supposed to look like and would have never paid for it or cameback. I wanted to send it back so bad but in the time that the waitress had gave us our food she didnt come back for abouttwenty minutes. My boyfriend says he didn't like how it looked either cause that's not how it looked last time, I was going togive the kitchen staff a hard time so I took a picture started eating instead. The more I ate the more I wished I had sent itback it was so very unsatisfying. But he didn't tip because I told him repeatedly I hated my meal and we even had to go find theserver to get out check leave because she kept disappearing. Read more

I can?t rate the food here, because we never got any. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00, and they didn?t seem... terribly busy. The host was friendly and gestured toward a few tables, telling us to take our pick. We did and he brought over ahigh chair for our child. He assured us that wait staff would be with us shortly. Our table was right by the server station andstaff walked by us several times over approximately 15 mins. Just as we were discussing leaving, a waitress walked by and saidshe would be with us momentarily. We waited another almost 10 minutes and as I picked up my bag for us to leave, she came overto take our drink orders. They did not have my husband?s first choice, and were out of his second choice, so we ordered waterand started to place our food orders, but were quickly told they were out of the entrees we wanted as well. We thanked thewaitress and told her we?d go elsewhere and quickly left. We?d been looking forward to trying CAH, but after reading some Yelpreviews, it looks like our experience was not an isolated one, so we probably won?t be back. Read more

Fantastic service from Erin. They really helped us out when another restaurant in town turned us away because we had a large... group. Carolina Ale House stepped up and said absolutely. Visited this restaurant had not been here since Covid started and I must say the service was great. The food came out really... fast and the waitress was very attentive. Only reason I didn?t give 5 stars is because we didn?t get silverware and we sat therefor awhile without. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you?re in town. Read more

I haven?t been here in a while and the place was almost empty when we walked in. We were greeted and served our drinks pretty... quickly after being seated. We only ordered fries and wings but it all was delicious! We had 3 different wing sauces and eachwas nice. The fries were piping hot and the beers were cold. Nice experience! I will return! This was my last meal in North Carolina, and it was mostly disappointing. I'd ordered through DoorDash; my order was quickly... made, so it was ready for my Dasher to pick up on arrival. However, a bit more time spent on my order may have helped to ensuremy meal was better than it was. I'd received fries instead of my choice of fruit, for one; this wouldn't have been an issue hadthe fries been good, but they were not (they did look appealing, but that was far as it went). The worst things about my order,though, were my very brown Caesar salad (see photos), and my nearly tasteless pink lemonade. I'd picked through the salad toremove the brown pieces of lettuce, but was so annoyed by the time I'd gotten it all (equal to nearly half its size), that Icouldn't bring myself to eat any of it except the croutons (those were decent). I had to dispose of that and my drink, whichtasted as though someone had poured water into a cup that had once contained pink lemonade - almost zero flavor. The Phillycheesesteak was properly made per my special instructions, and delicious... so at least I had that going for me. It was alsogood cold, as I couldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting and had refrigerated it for a late dinner that night. The sandwichand my Dasher, were the best parts of my order... plus the fact that DoorDash ended up refunding my entire order, rather thanonly refund for the bad and incorrect items. I just hope that didn't affect my Dasher in any way (DD said it wouldn't, but Ihave my doubts). I was hesitant to try this restaurant, and had actually planned not to order in on my last full day in NC...but I took a chance and was pretty heavily let down. I have a list of places I plan to revisit when I come back for vacation;sadly, this is not one of them. On the day that I went, the restaurant was not too busy, but the kitchen was very backed up. This was no big deal to me, as I... understand that many places are short staffed, and our waiter was very kind and apologized several times for the long wait.After waiting nearly 40 minutes, I asked for the salad I ordered to be packaged to-go. After this, it still took about 20minutes for my salad to be brought out. I then went home to eat and first realized that there was no egg or avocado on thesalad. I was kind of disappointed considering how long it took to get it, but I understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen.After taking several bites, I then realized that my chicken was raw. I am very understanding of the difficulties restaurants arefacing during the pandemic, but raw chicken is a major health risk. The chicken was cut before it was placed on the salad, so itis surprising that it was missed by the kitchen staff. Read more
