I love Cracker Barrel ? everything from browsing the storefront to the food!!! This was my first visit to this particular CB,... but if you?ve been to one you?ve pretty much been to them all. I don?t mean that negatively at all!!! Good comfort food is how Ithink of them and this one did not disappoint!! Halloween has ARRIVED!!! It is at Cracker Barrel in Greenville, NC. And, possibly a few other (spooky) locations around town. ... Too hot you say for Halloween thoughts?! Stop all that foolishness. Food not that great. Waitress was okay but didn't check on us and we had to wave her down for refills, or anything else. The... corn muffins were hard. The baked potato was hard not at all fluffy inside with a dark tint to it as if it had been baked daysago. I told the waitress the only meat I eat is seafood which the waitress verbalized "a pescatarian" as if she was familiar yetI ordered and was enjoying the Broccoli and cheese casserole and found bacon in it which I haven't eaten in over 22 years. Therainbow trout was just okay. Food seemed old and just didn't taste fresh. I didn't complain because I base choices on myexperience and we won't be going back.
