I love Cracker Barrel ? everything from browsing the storefront to the food!!! This was my first visit to this particular CB,... but if you?ve been to one you?ve pretty much been to them all. I don?t mean that negatively at all!!! Good comfort food is how Ithink of them and this one did not disappoint!! Great new menu items. The Peach mimosa was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We had a zero wait... time to our table. Food was good. My French toast was a little over cooked for my liking but still tasted good. One of myfavorite places to eat! Read more

Halloween has ARRIVED!!! It is at Cracker Barrel in Greenville, NC. And, possibly a few other (spooky) locations around town. ... Too hot you say for Halloween thoughts?! Stop all that foolishness. Food not that great. Waitress was okay but didn't check on us and we had to wave her down for refills, or anything else. The... corn muffins were hard. The baked potato was hard not at all fluffy inside with a dark tint to it as if it had been baked daysago. I told the waitress the only meat I eat is seafood which the waitress verbalized "a pescatarian" as if she was familiar yetI ordered and was enjoying the Broccoli and cheese casserole and found bacon in it which I haven't eaten in over 22 years. Therainbow trout was just okay. Food seemed old and just didn't taste fresh. I didn't complain because I base choices on myexperience and we won't be going back. Had to write this because our server, April, at the Greenville NC location was one of the very best that we have encountered in... any restaurant setting in 2022. My son and I ordered typical comfort food from the menu. April immediately came back to thetable to let me know that the meal I ordered would take 15+ minutes extra to come out. I chose another entree and we had ourbiscuit and gravy laden dinner in no time. She checked in with us multiple times and refilled our waters. Okay.. I honestly almost feel bad doing this, but it?s a constant issue. It needs to be addressed. Calling in the morning... before work, I ATTEMPT to get an answer by 7:10-7:16 from Cracker Barrel. Seems no one cares to answer before 7:27. I have beenon some list for a free meal because the last THREE times I have ordered had been an ordeal. The first time no protein at all inmy meal. No bacon. ONE egg. It was a mess. I called to fix things. ?No problem? I was told. So I go back a few weeks later, andnot only is my order wrong again. It?s sitting within reach, and I am told I must wait for the manager? ?where is he/she? Was myquestion. Almost a half hour passed by. I come to find out they were outside just hanging out or smoking a cigarette who knows.Oh btw! At the end of the matter somehow I am not on this list for my meal. (After standing in wait for 18 minutes with the foodin sight WHICH IS NOW COLD) Frustrated, I pay. Arriving at work I clock in, and sit down to eat. There?s no cutlery, there is nosyrup. There is no sugar in my tea or a straw. Nothing. There is no side order of hash brown casserole (paid for it) Extremelyfrustrating when you have to fight for an answer to pay someone. Even more so, when you are forced to sit, and dine in to haveyour order made accordingly, and proper. I have written this post because here this morning I have fought again to get an answeragain. In reality o should be able to call at 6:45 and have an answer. I SHOULD be able to pick up my food ready and hot at7:00am. Especially with such a focus on all day breakfast menu items. I know I am owed a meal. And yet, I am on my way to payyour company again for multiple meals now that I am still owed. Perhaps this is not the base of my concern.. I am moredispleased with the unimportance of my order, my time, my MONEY, and my handling staff members.
