Now this could just be because it was Christmas and they were completely understaffed but this was our experience. Took almost... an hour and half to get our food, which I would have been fine with if it was correct. I received shrimp when I ordered steakand then told they had no steak. We ordered hibachi with no veggies but we received veggies. When eating the shrimp it wascold and rubbery. The California roll something was wrong with it, not sure if it had turned or something else but my wife hadto spit it out because it was so bad. We decided to go ahead and pay for our appetizers which the gyoza was very good thetempura sweet potato was a little undercooked. They offered to give us the bento boxes for free which was nice but the foodwasn't very good at all so we declined. Like I said most likely because this was Christmas and they were understaffed. My husband and I love the sushi here. We get the love boat for 2 each time we come and have never been disappointed. Staff is... always very hospitable. Sanitation grade from November 2018 is 90% which made me a little nervous but restaurant always appearsclean and food quality exceptional in my experience. I feel confident that their grade will improve at next sanitation visit. Read more

Don't let the strip mall locale fool you! Once inside this is a very nice and quaint restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and... you get enough food for leftovers. Mine was so good, there were no leftovers. There is good draft and bottle beers at goodprices. There are booths with cubbies for your shoes. I think the idea is to take off your shoes and then slide into the booth.We didn't figure that out until we left. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Read more
