I went to the Merchant House for the first time for our wedding anniversary. Let me just say, if you are wanting fabulous steaks... and live in Western Ohio, you won't be disappointed. Our meals were outstanding, good atmosphere, and the service was great too!Our waiter gave us a complimentary dessert and an anniversary card - signed by all the staff! It was a fantastic experience. Soexcited to learn they are opening a second location in Celina, OH in 2023. We will be back and consider this our top restaurantin the area. Read more

Wow! Just wow. We were in town for a quick business trip and this place was recommended by our hotel's front desk attendant. So... glad we've asked. The atmosphere, the food and service were superb. Drink list was extensive and everything we tried waswonderful and tasty. I will honestly schedule more trips this way in the future just to be able to revisit The Merchant Houseagain. My server was prompt and attentive, but not excessively. I had the crab cakes with sweet potato fries. Fabulous! And the Butter... Pecan Old Fashioned hit the spot. This isn't close to home, but I would definitely come back if I had the chance. Read more
