It was our first time there. Prices are standard for restaurant bar prices. Whats not standard is the serving sizes and the... selections on the menu! Server was friendly and our food came quickly considering how busy the place was. Definitely will goback. Plenty of items on the menu to try. Read more

I recently placed a takeout order for an order of their crab rangoons. When I got home and started eating them something tasted... wrong.. so I took all six rangoons and pulled them apart and removed their filling and spread it with a spoon.. only to findthat there wasn't a shred of crab meat in any of them! No onion. No nothing. It was just plain cream cheese. So I called therestaurant to complain. At first they lied to me and try to tell me that there was crab meat in them. I'm a certified Chefthrough the acf, and if I don't taste it.. it ain't there. So then they told me that I could bring them back to get a refund onthe item. Well that's all well and good, but are you going to reimburse me for my half an hour of gasoline that I have to spendto return this because you decided to lie on your menu? No? I didn't think so. The wings I ordered were expensive for only fivewings, and completely devoid of flavor. They didn't do anything to the wings beforehand to prep them. They didn't brine them. They didn't smoke them at all. They basically just took some plain Frozen wings and threw them in a fryer. And that's kind oftheme at this restaurant. The food is expensive and uninspired. The Longfellow family really needs to quit letting the qualityof the food at this place slide, or it's going to close down just like Longfellows Shadows did. I won't be back until you stepup your game and have some friendlier customer service. And you should be ashamed for lying to your customers. Read more

Stopped here for a late lunch after dropping off my kitchenaid mixer for repairs at the factory. I was very pleasantly surprised... by the portion size and the quality of the food. We both shared the sweet potato fries with pumpkin glaze. Goodness they were sogood I didn't even get a photo of them. The ribs and onion rings were part or the rib "snack" dish. It was so much meat halfwill be a late dinner tonight. The alfredo was good and the shrimp and pile of parmesan made it even better!! The breadstickswere not baked but deep fried and it was quite a fun spin on them. Service was friendly and prompt. Can't be more pleased. Read more

I must say, going into Tolly's I didn't expect much more than the usual bar food but boy was I wrong! Between massive burgers,... awesomely crispy boneless chicken wings(aka chicken tenders for how big they were) and very friendly staff this place was adelight. Also if you are looking for a 2lb Applewood pork chop look no further! Despite being so large it was perfectly cooked.Topped off with excellently seasoned fries overall a 5/5 experience. Will definitely be returning if only for those wings! Read more

First experience was a good one. I stopped in for a late lunch at about 2:30pm. The restaurant was not very crowded and I sat at... the bar and was waited on right away be the friendly bar tender. They also had most of the appetizers at 50% for happy hour. Iordered the Italian salad and it was very good and huge. The menu is large and they have plenty of daily specials. I will beback to try some more. Read more

This place needs no introduction if you are a local. Hands down amazing value and quality food you will not get anywhere else... at this price point. At least not in America! The tenders are homemade and amazing. I usually dislike tenders but these aretruly home made breaded fried boneless chickens. The wings are excellent and I love wings, but really go boneless here as theyare amazing even for a traditional wing lover. Spicy garlic sauce is perfect. The smoked pork chop is pretty much a holiday hamin size and is tastey. The sandwiches can be described as flavorful footballs. The onion soup. Oh my. The onion soup is thebest I ever had and this is with me eating onion soup coast to coast at hundreds of establishments. So damn good Eeyore losthis tail in flavorful tail spinning excitement. And the meatballs might as well be a trough of meatloaf's full of sauceygoodness. Seriosuly folks. What is not to love here other than you can plan to wait for a seat at anything near prime timefeeding hours. The place is just too small to accommodate the crowds of locals and folks from out of town that will drive overan hour to dine here! Yes, it's worth the drive and even Eeyore might have been cheery after his visit here.Come and join thefeeding frenzy. This place sets the benchmark for what a true American diner should be when it comes to food and value. Read more
